19th June 2024. Time to check the "maintenance free" eaves to=roughs on the south side of the house. I had these installed 15 or more years ago and at least once a year I get up on the ladder (risky for an old guy on meds), to check them cause of a nearby mature tree. Maybe 4 years ago I unscrewed the guard to flush out all the very fine debris that makes its way thru the so called guard. The guard screen does work. It keeps out the big stuff but as you can see the surface does require cleaning. Just thought Id share this with you so you know what to expect with this system. Chris in Westwood Winnipeg MB.
