    I see this is a new channel. Some advice from an avid watcher - women and men have complex feelings and emotions. Women are equally capable of relating to the loneliness and rumination for a fulfilling relationship that you described as only men having. The statistics are biased, aimed only toward people who are chronically online. Both sexes are responsible for their respective consequences of being immature, dishonest and hopeless. Their ideas of the ideal partner are entirely fantastical, resulting in misery and cynicism when their desires aren't fulfilled. Of course it's the other persons fault - you opened with how life is unfair, then you alienate and blame the entire female sex for why any/all single men are without a submissive goth mommy, followed by "just get better, look at bruce lee, see he's fine being alone" then more quotes from other lonely, alcoholic and abusive men. I get if this is a video to yourself, more power to you, but blaming/alienating women right out the gate with this video was so disheartening. I'm personally struggling so bad with being single, fuck not waking up, I was on the verge of suicide. This isn't just a guy problem...

    • @therobertwagner
      @therobertwagner 8 місяців тому

      Thank you for your advice, I’m really sorry to hear that. I never said only men have it, just that it’s probably a lot more common with them and that’s who I was going to direct the video towards. I know we are all human beings in the same society often capable of sharing the same emotions. I also was very careful to make sure I never just stated things as fact unless I looked it up, most of it is my perception. I only said 20% of guys get 80% of women because it makes a lot of sense, supports my claim, and I showed where I looked it up to make sure. Thank you for enlightening me about the potential bias, perhaps my perception was a little skewed and I sincerely apologize. However, you perceived this video all wrong, I really didn’t blame women at all. I was just stating what the situation is and using it all as motivation to grow as a person. Encouraging people to stop stressing over loneliness so much, instead just accept it and focus on their interests and hobbies first. While they have more time and energy before they spend it all on the wrong one. Also, where did submissive goth mommy come from lmao, I think you probably build a perception of the identity of people very easily and that was pretty dramatic. It’s not like i’m trying to say it’s so simple of a solution like “just get better”, but discussing my opinion of, why focus so much on attracting a lover when you don’t even have your own life figured out first? Then giving that opinion reasoning and mainly just trying to inspire people to be grateful to be alone and improve themselves. Yeah I know the gratitude might sound crazy, but it’s the only way you’ll be at peace in the present and what good would the negativity and dwelling on despair ever do? To be completely transparent as always, I saw a motivational quote theme on google and downloaded it, every single quote came from there and I just used what I saw when I thought it was applicable. I figured the more well known or successful people I had quoted with their various ideologies, the more of a supportive claim I had for what I was trying to say convincing the audience. So that way it’s not just me saying random stuff. I’m really not that in touch with history or most news at all, I had no idea about those men being so despicable, and I would’ve just left the name out if I knew. The quote would’ve still applied wisdom and you wouldn’t have even batted an eye. It was all just attempts of supporting my claim like, look how cool Bruce is, everyone knows him, he says this wise quote about it. It was honestly aimed at men who’ve experienced what I have and a potential way to go about it from my perspective of chasing growth and your purpose first. Instead of relying on someone hoping they save, fix, and complete you. That is kinda more against the grain and not everyone will always agree with everything. You really took it all the wrong way because I certainly wasn’t blaming or alienating anyone, just explaining why I was going to be directing the message towards guys saying “girlfriend” and “provide as a man” but before it all I said it’s still inversely applicable. Meaning women could get value of it too. I’m genuinely sorry you felt disheartened and that you’re struggling; I promise I’ll try to be a lot more careful with everything I say and never offend anyone again. I wish I directly accounted for everyone so I could have possibly had a positive impact on you too. I know that it’s not only a men problem I’m sorry you thought I said it was, it was more like “most” men “probably” go through this “more” and “most” women “probably” can’t comprehend. That was just my perspective and once again I apologize if it was desenstitive. I’m sincerely grateful you are still here, keeping being strong not just for yourself but for everyone who knows and loves you. Keep fighting and perserving. I hope you find the person of your dreams soon. Have you tried putting yourself out there or diving into hobbies and interests and accepting solitude?

      I love your in depth reply, Robert. I'm 30, I work full time, I have an education, I have many hobbies and past times. I also live in a small retirement community(hometown), my financial situation isn't ideal for moving or affording more education. Lots of people are in my situation. I'm just at the age where, in the past and currently, all of my family was married, had children, careers, homes etc. Being single and lonely(more feeling unlovable and unwanted) are just 2 parts of my life right now. I promise, it's not just or primarily a mans issue. All of the advice can apply to both sexes. I love videos like this, it's why I clicked on it - I was genuinely looking forward to someone empathizing with my situation and giving me hope. I was just a bit hurt and shocked from the opening, that's all. Thank you again for a prompt reply. Keep up the great videos!

      @@therobertwagner also, offending people on the internet is *guaranteed*. I would say, aim more for complete honesty, thorough research and for being unbiased. With that said, some topics are impossible at checking all of those boxes, but the effort will save your butt in the future. If you indirectly imply anything, people will misunderstand your message, like I did. Be direct, or overtly sarcastic - that way people truly know what you're trying to say. :) forgot to add, I completely empathize with your own struggles for personal fulfillment while solitary. It can be a hard state to be in...but you're absolutely right. It's far better to learn to love being by yourself for no other reason than the fact that we're worth it. This allows for much more secure relationships, should one happen. That's the approach I'm taking. Best wishes to you

    • @therobertwagner
      @therobertwagner 8 місяців тому

      @@Wrenhollow-arts thank you Wren, I’m sure there a lots of people in that situation and I hate to come off as ignorant. You shouldn’t compare to your family, everyone’s story and timing is different, good things are still to come you are very young as well. You really aren’t unlovable and unwanted so don’t ever tell yourself that, you just haven’t had the best of luck and possibly effort. I don’t want to act like I know a solution like it’s a simple fix, but a suggestion would be to maybe be open minded to search for assistance outwards, and be self-aware diving inwards. Once again, apologies for my skewed perception, but obviously I know there are lonely women out there too. It’s just that generally women have more of the power to go out and attract men. Furthermore, I don’t want to generalize, but men are expected to be confident enough to approach women and say almost everything right, without giving them any icks lmao. All a man really wants is to be attracted to them, loyalty, and respect. (I really value kindness and confidence too.) But that’s why I asked you if you’ve really put yourself out there. You’re probably more capable of meeting new eligible relationships and being friendly than you realize. I sincerely do feel bad about your initial dissatisfaction, but I’m glad you enlightened me and I could learn something from this whole experience. I would’ve replied to this more promptly, but I’ve been working on my new video about how to be at peace and happy which should benefit everyone who watches.

      @@Wrenhollow-arts Yeah i’m sure it’s a guaranteed, but I never want the hate to be reasonable or justified yk? I’ve always valued honesty and I like supporting evidence, but you alone probably taught me a lot about being very careful to be unbiased, as I most likely really didn’t come off that way. I never would want to indirectly imply that’s why I tried to back up what I was saying while saying words like probably a lot. Being overtly sarcastic is a really clever idea though, thank you. I appreciate your empathizing and I hope you feel my empathy too. I genuinely want to help people grow and feel better after I’ve felt very broken, hopeless, insecure, sad, unwanted, unlovable, and wanting to die as well before. I overcame it with a newfound perception on life and solitude and just would like to inspire others. I’m really glad you say that because we are all worth it and it all be worth it in the end for our secure relationships indeed. Hey, just wanted to say - going to parties and raves can actually be hella nice and good for you, as long as you don't drink too much and sit around all the time ;) I used to be pretty fit when I used to go because I'd be dancing and jumping around for like hours! So yeah, I wouldn't say those are inherently bad for you! I had a lot of problems in my life since then (toxic relationships, broken friendships, deaths in the family, health issues, you name it) which resulted in me getting a bad habit of binge eating as a coping mechanism. Aaand now I weight double of what I used to 💀Stress really do be like that, don't it... Lately I decided that enough is enough, so I started exercising and going out a bit more and I hope in the near future, I can feel good enough to start going to the gym. Thanks for the motivation! 💖

    • @therobertwagner
      @therobertwagner 8 місяців тому

      Hey, thank you for that perspective. Dancing and jumping sounds fun I’d probably do that if I could, I was just mentioning the general correlation in environment and identity to that lifestyle where usually there can be excessive unhealthy habits like drugs, alc, and smoking. But I don’t want to stereotype people or profess something like that is automatically undeniably terrible for everyone. I’m sorry to hear about your unfortunate experiences and I’m glad it’s getting better, there’s most likely a lot of lessons you can learn out of all of them like: the type of people you want to surround yourself with and your standards, to never take anyone or anything for granted and cherish every moment, and to take your health very seriously. Like exercise, vitamins and nutrients, constant hydration, stretching, etc. Food is a crazy addiction and coping mechanism and I can kinda relate too, but you have to build discipline, find really captivating hobbies, and try to fix your environment. If you’re always working out, being mindful, you work in a flow-state, and all you have in your kitchen is healthy food like fruit, veggies, eggs, oatmeal, etc then it shouldn’t ever be that big of a problem. Stress management is always very important though, I’d recommend trying to build up to 10 min of meditation to be mindful that everything is going to be ok, to be grateful of all you have, and to be present in the now. That along with journaling and helpful positive content will go such a long way I promise. Proud of you for getting through all of that and getting back into exercising though!! I believe you in you got this, just start by walking in the gym and hopping on the treadmill it doesn’t have to be this giant mountain you need to climb. Work up to it and make it day one over one day! ❤️

      I did experience that a little when I first started going to my gym because I’d be looking all around for specific machines and had to watch videos on the spot trying stuff with different forms and I might’ve been seen as a newbie but: 1. Gotta stop caring what people think. No one really cares. What’s embarrassing is never going so just walking in is the goal. 2. The employees there should give you a tour of everything, if not do what I did and just walk and scan all around reading the machines, they should show you what they work and how to do it. 3. Like I said look up and watch a bunch of videos, what I did when I first started that one summer is asked my friend for a little routine, watched vids for all of the exercises on it, then did it almost every day in rotation. you just gotta do like 4-6 exercises each body part and there’s videos or top then exercises yk so just try them all and pick. The specifics really don’t matter you just gotta lift hard and be consistent. I have a built in routine of chest and triceps, back and biceps, legs, and then shoulders and forearms with some neck and ab workouts every other day in there and just constantly rotate generally doing the same 9 exercises a day or so. 4. You have to step out of your comfort zone for good things, specifically a little it in the beginning. If you look fat or weak and clueless in front of a bunch of baddies who judge you, they don’t matter and it is what it is. Nothing good comes easy though and that’s just how it is, but like I said it doesn’t matter at all. You gotta stop caring completely. Whenever I see a really weak or fat person at the gym I’m proud of them and hope to see them more. The most embarrassing thing you can do is only go once. 5. You already evaluated the problem, your excuses. You’re always going to be able to breed them, just never listen to them. Your monkey brain wants comfort and will sabotage you, do what you deeply know you should instead.

    Educate yourself! Half the people making these type of videos won’t end up earning $. Take it easy with the thumbnails/titles, and focus on god. Listen to your mind or re-program it, and dont forget to train hard. God bless!

      this are just videos from my perception not saying i’m perfect, educate myself on what specifically? it’s not about the money just posting consistently, wdym about the titles and thumbnails? Focusing on God is a whole completely different thing, i’m not here preaching, when I say your mind I mean your flesh that wants comfort. I do train hard lol that’s random.

      @@therobertwagner people click on the videos for the title and thumbnail. Saying “don’t listen to your mind” is very misleading to the general public. I would recommend to re-coordinate the title to be more encouraging. God bless

      I’m not sure about your situation and the specific problems so I’m just going to be pretty general. I know it’s hard brotha, but hard times create strong men. You getting through this is just character development, it’s temporary and you’ll be tougher and more grateful for the happy times after. You’ll laugh louder and smile bigger. Those days will come I promise, you just have to be willing to change. Willing to do these things I tell you: Regardless of your beliefs, experiences, and whether even thinking about God infuriates you, imagine there’s a creator and thank Him for every single good thing you have in your life. Even just being able to see this comment, being able to hear my video. Having a phone, and shoes on your feet. I promise when you are doing this you’ll eventually physically feel better You can always write it down, post it on your wall and really constantly concentrate on these things. Everything is perception and there are so many people with worse lives, your thinking is the root cause of your suffering and once you switch your mindset to every problem is an opportunity and every pain builds me, you see life differently. The biggest thing if just trying. day by day, more and more. habits compile. Exercise is such a big deal and walking literally gives you serotonin , which the lack of causes depression. Lack of Vitamin D can cause depression as well, which as why you need to get sunlight especially when you wake up. So change your mind and your habits. Start with one push up. One sentence of gratitude. It doesn’t matter you just have to stick to it every single day and it’ll build gradually. But you’re either growing or you’re dying. There’s unlimited ways to get paid and making money and you can get your mind busy, add value to the world, and then invest that in stuff that’ll grow you like books, courses, etc. Start by sitting and being aware of your breath, perhaps look up guided meditation for peace, and when you get really present your perception changes. You’re more calm and at peace. Then you can listen to your intuition, your gut feeling. Just don’t fill the void with cheap dopamine because if you’re feeling worse now imagine how much more after, and it’ll gradually just get worse and more addicting. You got this brother I believe you, I love you, and I’m always here if you need to talk. Just keep going, keep trying, keep believing in yourself.
