@@rollergoalie16 So the purple ramps are original to the machine, when I restored this one the purple ramps were melted from locked on flasher bulbs and cracked really badly so I put in new clear ramps, which I think looks so much better. This backglass/translite is also original, a lot of people don't like it so replace it with various different designs that have been made

@@Hedgeman49 I used to try to play the shots but it's just so much harder to stay alive long enough to complete everything. The drops can be dangerous and super risky at times but at least you get 1 piece in every body part for completing the bank in sequence. It never feels too dangerous on this particular Genesis but it definitely can catch you out!

@@MajesticPinball I was pleased to see a Fireball Classic, as I had one then and still have it now, but I was hoping for a Black Hole. I have a lot of favourites from the em and solid state Gottlieb machines when everyone was migrating to Space Invaders and Galaxian. I’m not a tilter, and enjoy the game for their simplicity and lousy at hitting targets when I need to 🤣

@@lesvogiatzakis3313 I love the early 80s Gottliebs too. I just picked up a black hole a few weeks back, needs a lot of work but looking forward to featuring it on the channel sometime soon (hopefully!) 😁

@@MajesticPinball For sure. Although, that might not even be enough, to be honest. Same as it ever was with that place. I went to the old location in a strip mall years ago only to play Pinball Circus, which apparently is not operating at the moment. Tim was an absolute dick head to me literally the first time I ever met him, so I have no problem dunking on his “business” and him as a person. Check out the Pinside thread about the PHOF and how many people utterly detest the place. It’s quite humorous and defines that place to a T. In my opinion, that place should cease to exist and he should sell off the entire collection. I’ll never step foot in that place again.

@@sadboi7537 Yeah Pinball Circus was down on my visit too, thankfully got to play it last time I was in Vegas 6 or so years ago 👍🏻 Past Times Arcade looks pretty incredible, similar idea just executed absolutely perfectly, would love to visit there some day.

@@MajesticPinball Of course Pinball Circus was down! Lol. That’s literally the only reason I went. Past Times is cool, but can’t hold a candle to Next Level Pinball Museum right outside of Portland, OR. It’s the mecca of pinball.

@@keithsmith6356 Depends what sort of MPU board it's running. If it's a new Altek board there is a dip-switch that enables/disables Freeplay. If it's the original board there is no freeplay setting - people simulate Freeplay by making the replay score really low 10k points for example. So hitting the lowest scoring threshold will give a free credit

Thank you for your replay the free play is not by points. So it may have an original board. I just need to know where to switch it back to coins. Also the display does not show credits it does not show anything. :-(

I was lucky to be able to play Pinball Circus the first time I visited. But it's been off every other time. I figure there's a good chance to put a lot of time into a rare pinball machine that works alright, and that'll have to be enough.

@@nothingnew765 It's a pretty cool game, played it on my initial visit to their last location so wasn't too disappointed not to get to play it this time round. Don't seem strange that don't seem too interested in keeping it running when it has such a big draw.

@@MajesticPinball no problem. When you think about it, pinball is such a vertical game that portrait mode is the right mode to record in. By the way, I heard some new sounds from this game that the gameplay video from Pinballwiz45B doesn't have. Were those bonus points? I'll see if I can put in the timestamps in another comment.

​@@blindsportslover This is running a Pascal board which adds a few extra features, so it may be possible that the other video you saw is running an original board set which may have slightly different sounds

@@blindsportslover It's a modern day replacement circuit board. It replaces all of the original boards in the back with 1 board. Has a lot of added features including improved attract mode lighting, skill shots, improved book keeping and test menus etc.
