Yeah, a little disappointed with that feature, however not bad for a less than 40k SUV.

I don't think this feature was properly explained on the video. The car doesn't have to be on. The key fob has a remote start button (top button). And then it has the move forward and move backwards buttons. So obviously this feature is to put the car into a tight spot or a narrow garage where, after parking, you wouldn't be able to get out of the car. Or if you parked properly but someone blocked your side doors and you can't get in the car.

It's all controlled by the ECM, it usually starts the engine after a few seconds of driving.

Yes on the HEV, I don't think it comes with the PHEV version.

@@ReviewsMore422 The whole reason I went for the HEV is because it has a spare. The battery takes the spot of the spare on the PHEV. The Tucson gives you a tire mobility kit with their HEV so that was out of the running.

Check the camera settings in the infotainment screen. Homelink was added by the dealer after purchase.

@@ReviewsMore422 hi.. I did check all settings but there is no camera setting available. Settings related to auto assist is available but nothing about the camera angle.

I think the Harman Kardon sounds pretty good. I heard from some folks the Bose version in the Tucson sounds better. Alot depends on the smartphone app audio quality which can be anywhere from 128kbit/s to 256kbit/s.

Thanks for your question. It's actually pretty difficult to maximize fuel efficiency since it would require a lot of driver engagement as you drive adjusting to traffic patterns. So many things factor in such as the terrain, outside temperature, SUV climate settings and accessory use. You should also make sure you maintain correct tire pressures to reduce drag. Try alternating between the ECO mode and SMART mode to see which one results in better overall efficiency over one your regular trips. Keep in mind that the published EPA mileage estimate is under controlled conditions for all vehicles tested.

If you have that function, you will have that key fob. Is your Sportage a hybrid or gas only?

Your car has to have that function built into the car before you can use it. If you have it your key fob will have it on it if not then it want be on the fob.

Only the SX Prestige trim models have it. Plugin Hybrids and EV model. You need more than just a key FOB to get this feature.

lol...yeah wasn't trying to set any kind of PR lap time. We were following a pace car and were told not to exceed a certain speed limit.
