Just who is passing by in 2024 - FYI if your sharepoint has different language settings, then use the translation of Site pages. Example: Site Pages == Sitepagina's (in Dutch)

I used what you showed to format the column in Details List and it works great! thank you Now, when i click to open the file, it opes always on the browser (thought the site's and library's settings is to open on dekstop) I tried using web=0 but doesn't work. Do you know if there is anything i can do to force the file to open in client's desktop app instead of a browser? Thank you

Hi Steve, Great demo - thanks for recording it. A few questions 1. I have the copilot license and I dont see this option on sharepoint, is it already available generally or only because you are an MVP? 2. You have said this already however just to confirm, even if I have copilot enabled on the sharepoint site, the users will also need a copilot license to ask questions?

This method isn't working for me. The copilot is unable to access the Sharepoint data and chat about it as it has for Steve. Has something been changed by Microsoft since this video was released? Is this method working for other people and it's just me facing this issue?

the permission does not get migrated right ? if you have to migrate a file server to SP libraries how would you go about replicating the permissions that existed in the file server up to sharepoint online library file share?

Is the copilot supposed to be able to read the files in the Sharepoint where it's been added? From how it was linking a "Leave policy.docx" file when replying to your questions, I assumed it would. I managed to configure mine, it's already answering my questions, but it's telling me it cannot read folders or files.

why would you not explain the fields of create user? what does mailnickname mean? why would you create an explanation that does not explain?

Can I add a copilot to my sharepoint communication site so that it can be linked to one of my teams in the MS Teams app So when someone asks a question, it can take data from the sharepoint page rather than a document in sharepoint?

I don't see a way to do it from a Shared mailbox or a teams group. I guess that can't be done?

Great walkthrough. Copilot Studio doesn't allow for seamless integration with .aspx file format as seen in Sharepoint. Do you have any workaround for this for wanting to include +1000 Sharepoint documents in the Copilot's knowledge base that are .aspx format?

Hi Steve. Thanks for the video. I have been asked to export an employee handbook from Sharepoint to allow someone to review it. The handbook is a series of webpages with a table of contents page. Do I have to do each page indivdually or is there some way I can supply a 'root' page and have the routine work through each page?

The refer file option is missing from draft with copilot box in all office 365 apps including word and ppt i want copilot to be able to refer other files and draft me stuff based of its contents. This feature would be mighty helpful for my work, can u help me with this please. as I explored I understand that you should get a button to attach file to make copilot refer files but its now showing for me! If I select "File Share" migration, the version history option is missing. What could be the reason?

An excellent detailed video. But I have a question here. When I create a label under FilePlan it says the label already exists. But I don't see any labels under fileplan or retention policies. It's weird not even allowing to create the labels from retention policy tab. Just keep getting labels already exists. But no labels are visible. How do I access those orphan labels or how can I see existing labels?
