    I hope this guy didn't take his own life.😔 For any reason but especially bc of a woman!!🤦 Life is a gift from God & I promise you won't make it into heaven if you commit suicide! The devil had him very confused & in a bad place, its very sad, the devil is the great deceiver. From what I could tell he had a good life, parents, brothers, friends, jobs, skills, & very nice material things. Please no one ever take this path & ending! Life can be hard but it only makes you stronger & smarter, everyone goes through things & no matter where you are in life someone else has been there, lots of people, there is nothing new under the sun. Ive been through a divorce with a woman that did me dirty over & over, had two children with her, she almost destroyed me but thank God the heart heals. Nothing is worth taking your life, don't let the devil pull you down, lie & deceive you. If this guy could make another video i know what he'd say to us!! I hope in time my words can help someone. If you need help call out to Jesus & change your life, change your ways! You do your part & he'll do his, your life will change for the better. Everyone should, if you don't you will regret it, one day it will be too late.

    Went and replaced my clutch plates with some aftermarket ones, I think the gasket is loose it leaks oil now, so I will order a new gasket. Also the clutch cable gets loose and I have to readjust when it rides for a bit and it becomes hard to shift.

    For all of you trying to blame Janet, he lied to her about her about having cancer. Used her to ruin her credit that she is still recovering from. The guy had a lot of issues and his family knew about it but never did anything. He harassed for ends on until after she confronted him over all this. Making a youtube video not explaining what you actually did before doing something like this is one of the most selfish things of all. Janet did not do this and all of you harassing her for his mental issues till this day is sickening. This is a man that was failed by his own family and and his fans still tormenting her till this day cus they don't know what kind of person he was. Commuting suicide doesn't make you automatically a better person and this was one last blow to her for leaving for good reasons, and she still gets harassed for it. Yeah he made good mechanical videos but this has nothing to do with Janet. Leave her alone, this guy had a lot of issues and anyone who knew him knows the truth.

    I burn my clutches to smithereens every 20,000 km or so and I mean burnt to bits. I'm running the 2009 Versys 650 and I'm a pretty big guy, well no actually I'm a REALLY big guy and I'm brutal on the clutches. I launch like the hounds of hell are on my ass every time I take off and I use the friction zone like mad in traffic so I don't have to put my feet down and that reallllllllly destroys clutches fast. I actually keep a set of just okay clutches in my bike from an ER6N that I did for a buddy just in case I lose my clutches while on a trip. Lastly EXCELLENT video! It's people like you whom take the time to video, edit and post such thorough videos that save people so much time and money... Thanks!

  • @MrNurseinTExas
    @MrNurseinTExas 8 років тому

    2009 - Ninja 650R ***CONFIRMED*** , you do not need to empty the oil to open the clutch cover. Just made sure the bike is on the side stand. I just did my oil change like 700 miles ago so I was thankful I didn't need to even though I had all the supplies ready for it.

    • @stevenfalcon2813
      @stevenfalcon2813 2 роки тому

      If your clutches burnt all that crap is going to be in your oil, clogging various delicate parts. You don't want that. For $20-30 dollars for new filter and oil it's much better overall to just change it.

      I don't know about the 250, but I just did this on my 2007 650r, it's the same as this video. Before you start the repair, make sure you have a replacement gasket, your new plates soaked, liquid gasket maker, and moly-grease (or a synthetic moly-fortified). Use the manual! This video gives you a great visual, but there's several other steps you may need to follow.

      Remember the specifications for torque force is measure in INCHES/LB instead of foot/lbs. You need to do the necessary conversion. 1. Clutch plates kit $150 2. Gasket $6 3. Torque Wrench $30 4. Clutch-Plate remover tool $10? . The satisfaction of knowing you did it yourself: priceless!

    Have you ever had trouble putting on the clutch cover back on? I changed my plates, but now when i install the clutch cover and move the actuator arm to the right it feels as if it's hitting something and most possibly the Push-rod. When i take out the clutch springs and reinstall the clutch cover the actuator arm moves like it should and works properly and it feels like there's tension. Has this ever happened to you? I'm currently waiting on a torque wrench hoping the bolts for the springs not being torqued to specs is causing the problem.

    • @50cal5NiP3R
      @50cal5NiP3R 9 років тому

      You have to have the actuator arm in just the right position when you put the cover back on. It may take a tad bit of fiddling to jet it just right.

      As 50calSniper says.... It also helps if you NOTE its position when taking it off and do not touch it. The actual is fully turned counter-clockwise and seemingly toward the person working on the bike.
