At what hotel can I stay so I can be close to the tide pools?
Hello. Anywhere in La Jolla would be close by to the tide pools. Also Pacific Beach is a cool and large beach town with plenty of hotels restaurants and clubs PB also has access to many sandy beaches and is just south of La Jolla cove tide pools.
What beach are you at when you are looking at these beautiful tide pools?
When I was in the US Navy stationed in the San Diego area, we lived in the Clairemont area of San Diego which is vary close to La Jolla. We would take our Daughter to the pools, Sea World, Scripps, and most of the other venues in the area. Our Daughter could spend hours at the pools and Scripps looking at the wildlife. We found the best time to go was a few days after a storm because the storm washed more diverse wildlife into the pools.

Great video! The sights and sounds of some of the SD night life. The weather seems perfect for walking around outside. Was this a weekend night? The street food at minute 7:07 looked interesting.
Thank for watching! Yes this was a Friday evening around 11PM so the crowds I’m sure grew more. This was Valentines weekend. San Diego City Council relaxed it’s food vendors license requirements during pandemic…lots of new entrepreneurs working on the streets!!
