I’ve got a YANMAR Single cylinder 219 cc diesel engine I believe it’s only a 4 hp but it runs really really good I just think that design that you have is a better design as far as compact goes Because the one I have is straight up and down it doesn’t slant like that one does I would like to get that style and put it on one of those Coleman little too real motorcycle

Predator 212s are $150 now and these are $260 so now not such a big difference and you will save money by using diesel in the long run explicitly if you use off-road diesel
Mine has 3000 hrs on it. Generator pooped out so I put in a lawn tractor and turbocharged it. Keep oil changed and synthetic 5w 20 or 5w 30 depending on how cold it is. Do not let it go to full throttle at start up. Let it idle till side of crank case is warm to touch. Then let it eat! There a yanmar clone!
@Cummins274 how did the little diesel work on the generator??? Also did you happen to run across any that were smaller? I'm interested in finding one that is a 1hp. For a prototype I'm workin on.

How long did it last could you give an estimate of hours and did you do the timing modification @jetric32 was talking about for longevity
beware that running backwards will cause the air filter to explode thusmaking worse than if it didnt have one at all

Can a gas engine run on veggie oil? Nope! Diesel engines can! Diesel engines have A LOT of torque and will always be better for heavy loads.

a tip for you is to buy a stage one kit for the 212 and take the air box out that’s why it’s bogging out
