Yes, the refillable mugs are good at any Disney resort, not the parks. If you are eating quick service at a Disney resort bring your mug! You can get another beverage to bring back to the room for later. The Cast Member may also let you substitute your drink for a snack credit, when available as well if you don't want the bottled beverage.

If you're only putting in blades, I'd say maybe 5 or 6 would fit in this tube. Although the blades are durable, you may want to add some padding or other protection during transport if the blades are just loose and able to move around.

Good idea! We were so glad we upgraded to the ocean view. The partial ocean view we had was pretty much the parking garage, and if we leaned way over the balcony we could see some ocean. Hope you have an awesome trip!

@@TipsfromtheMagicalDivas I called Aulani and they informed me that there are some rooms on the inside of the hotel that has the view of the water slides and ocean that are classified as partial ocean view. They said they could put in a request for me but it cannot be guaranteed. Fingers crossed 🤞🤞

We've always put the hilt in the checked luggage. It is metal and weighs a few pounds, so we don't want to take a chance on TSA confiscating it as a weapon.

Theoretically yes, but I’d recommend you check with your airline. Your ability to carry.on the bag Disney provides may also depend on the particular gate agent. At SNA coming back from Disneyland, the agent said the Disney bag had to be checked. Thankfully it arrived undamaged. But that was Opening Weekend of Galaxy’s Edge (May 2019) before airlines had seen lightsabers from Savi’s. By now, airlines may be more familiar with Galaxy’s Edge souvenirs (remember the uproar over thermal detonators?) and it will be easier to transport as a carry-on. We had no problem in September 2019 at MCO.

Disney continues to tweak this process, so it's pretty hard to predict what will be a successful strategy in joining a boarding group. For instance, I heard that today (Jan 3) all boarding groups were distributed in less than 25 minutes! The huge demand placed on My Disney Experience when everyone is trying to join a boarding group at the same time has caused some glitches, and the ride itself is still subject to more downtime than anyone wants. The combination makes it really hard to make any kind of plan which will be insure success at being able to experience Rise of the Resistance. I heard stories of people getting there at 4:00 am today, joining a boarding group just a few minutes after 7:00, and still getting assigned a group in the 140s. With a number that high, if the attraction experiences any downtime, they likely won't get to ride. My best advice if you really MUST have the best chance at getting a boarding group is to be there as early as you possibly can. You'll likely wait hours before being able to scan into the park, but at least if you are one of the first in the park, you know you'll be ready to join a group right at park opening. Beyond that, you'll need the Force to be with you to get a good number, and to keep the attraction running without breakdowns. @@TipsfromtheMagicalDivas It does have a high chance of rain, so maybe some of the crowds will stay away from that area, or they might leave the park later if they know it's raining

@@TipsfromtheMagicalDivas also, I used an LTE Wi-Fi network instead of Disney's network, which could experience issues in everyone getting boarding groups.
