Don't listen to this video... The word "Tekayleth" is violet/purple, not blue. They add acidic substances to the liquid mix to force the dye to change to blue in the sunlight!

As I have stated publicly since Feb. 2014 when I was 100% convinced of our findings, Ptil Tekhelet's blue and white tzitzit are fraudulent. Murex Trunculus is not the Hilazon that was used to make the fair dinkum turquoise dye of old. (Moses and/or his followers in south Sinai discovered the Hilazon and the knowhow to make tekhelet by "chance", divine intervention actually, in the early years of the 40 years in the Sinai. The discovery happened on the western shore of the Gulf of Aqaba at modern day Dahab, Di Zahav in the Tanach, one of the five places mentioned Moses and Hebrews camped on their long journey of the Exodus. “These are the words that Moses spoke to all of Israel on the east bank of the Jordan River... near Paran, Tofel, Lavan, Chazeroth, and Di Zahav.” (Deut. 1:1) Much more I can explain about תְּכֵלֶת and the mitzvah mentioned in Numbers 15.37-41, but the comments section of You Tube is not the best forum for my presentation. As for the argument of what color the chilazon was, the Radhzhiner's cuttlefish would answer that. The cuttlefish can change its color even more dramatically than a chameleon.
