It is the same watch that Steve McQueen wore in the movie Bullitt. I never feel inadiquate when someone has a larger watch than me.😁

First 3 sub owners I've personally known where one watch guys that did a shit ton of manual labor surrounded by all sorts of steel, water and chemical agents. Their watches were scratched to absolute hell (all pre ceramic) but man that look beats a pristine sub any day in my opinion. The watch is designed to take it.

You have abused it. Iv had the same watch for 8 years, wore it everyday for about 6 of those year and half the time for the rest. Iv swam and dived with it, done all sorts in it and It is in excellent condition. A beater watch doesn’t have to meant a beaten watch.

I can't afford a rolex let alone the milgauss of my dreams that's been discontinuated but I feel like wearing my dream seiko everyday makes me very happy. people engage with it out of curiosity for the camo but at the same time dropping the brand name of I'm being asked doesn't make anyone feel insecure about themselves. It costs less than a playstation so demons don't get in their feelings and those in the known just know it's a nice afforadable time piece.

Classic for excellent reasons! I have had a 16234 Slate Tapestry Datejust since 1992. Your watch is about as close you can get to mine in 2024. No reason to hate. BTW: I’m 6’2” and 225. I’m build like a linebacker and this watch is perfect. I own other much larger watches from 40-44mm including a Tudor BB Chrono reverse panda that is a beast. You don’t need to wear the same size watch all the time.

As a Rolex and Omega owner, my Steinhart (a 42mm black ceramic) is my favorite - is it the best, no but at the price it’s exceptional and I will be purchasing more.

My dream watch

I did the same thing. Can go into RSC and they replace damaged steel screws for no charge. They replaced 3 of them for me in a matter of minutes while I waited and it was at no cost.
