dinan headers don't exist for the e60. The headers aren't sec1 for the E60. sec3 = mufflers, sec2 = xpipe, sec1 = mid/straight pipes. sec1 can be straight or have resonators.

I used an external microphone (Sony, I think) that I hooked up to the audio jack on my GoPro. GoPro was mounted inside the car on the sunroof and I ran the audio cable through thr ski rack opening through the trunk to the back of the car and mounted the mic on the bumper

Thank God it doesn't. A huge heavy car like the E70 really needs forced induction to make it move. Even the 4.8 N62 V8 isn't anywhere near as good as the twin turbo diesel. If the high revving S85 was in that car, it would be frustratingly slow to drive for 99% of the time and then the moment you decide to rev the engine out, you'll be in a huge house moving forward with 500hp, haha.

Happy to hear it! I know they made some improvements to the Infinity LTH to make installation better and what not.

@@randywei7 Hey Randy, got installed the headers a few days back :) i might got the V2 headers, sadly they doesnt fit perfectly on the steering column. Did you got the same problem and may have a solution? sometimes in right turns the headers hit the steering and thats very annoying and dangerous :)

@@wengim5630 I do notice that sometimes I do feel a slight rub when turning after having the headers installed. Doesn’t happen often and my tech saw where it was rubbing and didn’t think it was too bad. Only happens during slow turns, I noticed. And only after metal has warmed up and expanded a little

In this video it was Evolve long tubular headers. Didn't have the 3.91LSD at the time this race was done.

randywei7 I finally have opportunity to purchase one here. Full super sprint headers and exhaust, all maintained done , evolve CF intake and stage 3 tune. Question is do I sell my FBO Lexus ISF or my tuned E92 M3 which I have had 3 of in the past , inc a supercharged one . Never owned an e60 M5. What should I do.😱

@@dspada67 Give the e60 M5 a try! The V10 is in a league of its own and its exhaust note is intoxicating when you get into the higher revs. Just be careful of the maintenance items.

I haven't had the chance to take my M5 to the drag strip yet to see its quarter mile time. My guess is high 11's.
