Diane thanks so much for this reading. There's so much to say in response I wouldn't know where to begin. But I do feel the democrats dropped the ball for decades. They missed opportunity after opportunity to avoid this crisis. Don't know if people are aware but it was Nancy Pelosi who saved the ACA. It wasn't Obama. He was about to throw in the towel. It was Pelosi who wrangled a deal. There are so many details like this that people are unaware of. Years ago my husband and I traveled back to the town in Western PA where I grew up and it was all boarded up. I predicted then... we're talking 20 years ago... that there would be dire consequences for this. Democrats have not been addressing this collapse of working class American life. These degraded towns. Folks hanging on by a thread. The degradation of our educational system and FOX News spewing lies for decades. That's just brain washed people. Our media has ignored or white washed this. Trump was the result of a long campaign by the GOP to remove the constraints that protect our Democracy. This didn't happen over night. RBG not stepping down in time to insure a new younger member of the court be appointed under Obama would have made all the difference in protecting women's rights. But RBG held on, even having survived cancer multiple times and into her 80's... the Democrats did not read the road and see what could happen. She wanted to swear in Hillary. Why more people don't recognize this is kind of amazing to me. I was beside myself that entire last year praying for her health because I could see the consequences.
