Sweet Potato Paratha & Cucumber Peanut Raita Recipe | Veg Healthy & Yummy Recipe | Dhira ka Tadka
Looking for a healthy and flavorful meal? Try this Sweet Potato Paratha paired with a refreshing Cucumber Peanut Raita-perfect for breakfast, lunch, or dinner! This combination is not only delicious but packed with nutrients. The Sweet Potato Paratha is soft, aromatic, and made with a mix of wheat and ragi atta, while the Cucumber Peanut Raita adds the perfect cooling side to balance the flavours.
Recipe Breakdown:
Ingredients:
3/4 cup Wheat Atta
3/4 cup Ragi Atta
1 tbsp Kasuri Methi (dried fenugreek leaves)
2 tbsp Fresh Coriander Leaves
1 tbsp Ginger (grated)
1 tbsp Green Chilli (finely chopped)
1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
1/2 tsp Black Pepper Powder
1 tsp Dry Mango Powder (Amchur)
2 tbsp Oil
Salt (to taste)
1/4 cup Ghee (for roasting)
Method:
In a flat plate, combine wheat atta, ragi atta, ginger, green chilli, salt, kasuri methi, turmeric, amchur powder, black pepper, and oil. Knead into a soft dough.
Let the dough rest for 5 minutes.
Roll the dough into flat circles (as shown) and roast on a hot tava (griddle).
Once cooked, apply ghee and roast the paratha on both sides until golden brown.
Repeat the process for the remaining dough.
Cucumber Peanut Raita:
Ingredients:
1 cup Curd (yoghurt)
1/2 cup Cucumber (grated)
1 tbsp Fresh Coriander Leaves (chopped)
1 tbsp Fresh Mint Leaves (chopped)
1 tsp Green Chilli (finely chopped)
1 tsp Black Pepper Powder
2 tbsp Roasted Peanuts (coarsely ground)
Salt (to taste)
Method:
In a bowl, combine curd, grated cucumber, chopped green chilli, roasted peanuts, chopped mint, and chopped coriander.
Add black pepper and salt. Mix everything well to make the raita.
Serving Suggestions:
Serve your Sweet Potato Paratha hot with a side of Cucumber Peanut Raita for the perfect meal. The combination of warm paratha and chilled raita is sure to delight your taste buds!
