I'm going to guess that you are putting miles on it. Am I correct?
😂😂 yea we are but we are also getting some upgrades done
Another of our favourite places, great video guys!
Thanks so much! We just watched your canyon video that look awesome
So amazing!
Glad you think so!
Pre made easy
Yes 😊
That is surely some gorgous scenery we have up here on the island. We have been driving around the woods here for 30 years now, It never gets old. Love the truck we have had 10 jeeps my favorite was the Jurassic Park clone YJ. glad your enjoying the visit we are definatly enjoying your videos. Hopre to bump into you guys some day, we camp in an ambulance these days, but still have one 4x4 just incase Ian Susan and winston ( the tiny dog)
We are jealous you live in such a beautiful place 😉. We truly loved it there and maybe next time we are there we will run into you guys. Glad you are enjoying our travels.
Hello from Port Alberni. You just ended up in one of our favorite spots in the area. Sorry you had to deal with these disrespectful yahoos. In all of our travels around our area and the rest of the island, we have fortunately never encountered such a situation. We will have to look up more of your adventures. Always nice to get a different perspective of the place we call home. Keep it up and thank you for not sharing the location 🙏. Safe travels and all the best, Michelle and Holger 🙏
@@backroadjournals Hello, it was a bad night but the spot was beautiful and we loved our adventures on the island and will be back soon for sure! We are glad to hear you enjoyed our video. Maybe one day we will see you out there! Kris and Ang
Hiya from Liverpool UK 🇬🇧 great review how long to charge and how long does charge last on low and full power
Hello, nice to meet you. It will run for 70 minutes on high and 110 minutes on low. It takes 2 and 1/2 hrs to charge. If you have any other questions let us know.
Thanks for the video. I would like to know how you can charge EcoFlow River Pro using alternator charger.
Plug the Delta 2 into the 800W alternator charger, and then the Ecoflow River into the 24V three pin plug socket of the Delta.
Currently you can do as stated below but we have heard that they will be releasing a cord that you can use with the River pro in the future.
Unless super remote ... I avoid easily accessible bodies of water for just this reason .... it seems to be an idiot magnet.
We learned our lesson that night for sure. I would have never thought someone would drive back there at 2:30 in the morning but they did.
Nice video! Are you near Asheville? We live there part of the year. As for the dirty Jeep, we installed mudflaps on our Gladiator and it has helped a bunch.
Thanks. Actually we are based in central Indiana but we get all the work done on our Jeep at Asheville Vehicle Outfitters and are in Asheville a few times a year. We have thought about mudflaps but haven’t gotten them yet. Good to know they work well.
Pretty cool video thanks for sharing, what area where you traveling?
Thanks glad you enjoyed the video. We were on Vancouver Island outside of Port Alberi
America is being ruined by rude aholes
Kelly and I love that spot, good fishing too!
We loved it!
Hey guys!! My wife and I met you at Side Bay in July...great video and I just subscribed to your channel!
@@fattug68 Hey there! Thanks for subscribing. We already miss the island and can’t wait to get back there! We have been enjoying your adventures as well.
Favorite town I've ever been too
It’s an awesome place
Nitinaht River? A great find. I live in the area and camp here often.
It is. You live in a beautiful part of the world. We would move to the island in a heart beat!
Hi, thinking about getting AEV LIFT like yours just wondering how much height did you gain over stock. Front and back thx.
Hi, it gave us a full 3in lift from the stock rubicon height. It’s been a great lift for us.
Congratulations on 26 years!
Thank you
Can I use a battery bank to charge it up in the field? Like a normal small size 10,000 mah battery? Or do I have to charge it from a wall outlet? I have a solar panel to charge up my battery bank, so I could have this be charged up for weeks or months if needed.
Hi, the charging cable is a USB-A to a USB-C with a run time of 110 minutes per charge. When we plug it into our power bank it pulls 11w and it takes about 2.5 hrs to fully charge. Hope that helps
@@roamelevatedThat is very helpful, thank you!❤
It looks fantastic up there!
It is!
I believe your rear shocks are installed upside down. I’m actually installing my lift as I type this message. Just completed the rear and I’ve just began the front. Looking forward to seeing how much the ride improves.
The suspension has been great for us. Enjoy it and let us know how you like it.
How tall is it from the top of your decked system to the roof on the Alucab?
Hello, it’s 27 inches
A quick question to those who have bought the flex tail shower kit… Does anyone know where I can buy the same quality tubing that doesn’t kink, and also a white connector with the same quick connect so I don’t have to adapt all over the place I don’t know what size this quick connect stuff or where to get it
I’m not sure maybe you could ask Flextail if they sell extra hoses and connectors.
Здравствуйте! Благодарю за обзор очень все доступно показали и обьяснили
Thank you!
Wow beautiful
Thank you so much
Welcome to Canada, kids :) We got you :) !
Thanks Vancouver Island was awesome and we will be back to Canada soon!
Skaget county?
Close, Vancouver Island
Good night- Omg~ incredible sharing. ;))
Thanks for visiting
Really like this product. But I’m interested in that storage box behind you too 😂. Green canyon one. Followed from Scotland 🏴
@@summittaedae2323 Hello, it’s actually a cooler. From Canyon Coolers. It’s a great ice cooler.
Great video. This brings back so many great memories having been born and raised in Canon City. My wife and I recently traded in our 2dr Rubicon in for a Gladiator Rubicon and can't wait to get out on the trails so, if you are ever back in CO, let us know!
@@T3erryC3ooper Thank you. What a beautiful place to grow up. I love the area. Congratulations on your Gladiator, we love ours. We have been thinking about heading to Colorado in October.
We just got home from Canada and saw a beach like that. Loved it.
@@leemen we loved that area. And already miss it. We will be home today from our 30 day Vancouver Island Adventures
Have you tested how long the battery lasts? Can you replace the battery? I like the quick connects, I use them in my brewing equipment. I can even break down the quick connect and put it back together.
The battery should last about 2hrs. We have used it for about an hour and haven’t needed to recharge it yet. I don’t believe that the battery is replaceable but I’m not 100% sure. The quick connects are great and very easy.
Where did you get the case for it? Mine was delivered a few days ago (from Amazon) but it didn't come in a case. Just the plastic packing sleeve in the cardboard box. ETA: I found it on their website. Thanks!
Awesome, glad you found it
You are nice, folks
Thanks we hope you enjoy our adventures
that’s crazy i get 15 hauling a 40ft gooseneck lol
Yeah the Gladiator isn’t the best on mpg
@@roamelevated it it’s defense sure makes up for that off road lol my 350 is no good on a thing rougher than gravel
@@Pyrex_lex we actually use to do this stuff in a 350 dually and went places we should not have. lol Love our 350 but man the Jeep can get us to some incredible places
Ok, I will take the bait. What gears did you start with? What are your new gears? What size are your new tires? When deciding what gears to use did you research Dana Spicer NOT needing any break in or oil change. Much like a brand new vehicle off the showroom floor does not need gear break in or oil change. Yukon is a joke in this department.
We had the stock gears and upgraded to 4.88’s with 35’s. We just drove cross country and have been on the trails and the re gearing has been a game changer. We haven’t heard of the Dana Spicer but will check them out for any future builds.
@@roamelevated Dana Spicer is what is in your factory Dana axles. OEM gears.
So did the new drawer face fix the issue? Seems like when you guys pushed to shut the drawer, it did not close?
It did fix the issue, we did have to loosen the middle bar in the front a bit to allow it to close as well.
@@roamelevated Are you talking about the metal bar on below the drawer? Did you let the base to be further apart?
Yeah, the metal bar at the front below the drawer. We needed to loosen it up so the base was not as tight. With the new drawer face and the bar loosen we haven’t had any issues with closing since.
Yeah, my limiting factor on camping roadtrips is showers. Thanks.
You bet!
Can you run a hose off the pump to drop into a scepter?
Hello, the only hose hook up is the one for the shower head. If the opening is at least 3 inches you can drop the pump directly in the water container.
I have a much cheaper alternative from Amazon and it is what I paid for! this looks a little bit better for sure. price is actually ok! might have to pick one up !
Hello, this has been great for us so far with no issues. We highly recommend it!
I am NOT seeing that the shower comes with the case like in the video and there is no link to where to purchase it with the case or the bucket.
Hello, the must have changed there packages. If you go to the link here you can click on the shower by itself or with the case and then there is a spot to add the bucket below: www.flextail.com/products/max-shower?variant=43991818371319 Thanks
Friend just bought me this for my birthday gift. Should be in tomorrow! So excited!
That’s awesome, hope you enjoy it and let us know what you think.
Will the bucket material take heated -hot water?
Hello, yes you can use hot water in the bucket. The pump is rated for up to 140 degrees.
Hell yeah take my money That's a great invention
It has been working great for us!
Cool
Review a light, but dont show it at night. Seriously?
Hello, we did show it at night and show the different setting. It’s about half way through the video. Thanks
Take my money.
With the “plywood carrier” design of the tailgate on the gladiator where it rides at an angle to support long media - does the height of the decked system align somewhat with the tailgate in that position?
The decked 2.0 system sits right above the wheel wells in the Jeep. It’s roughly about 10ins tall in the Jeep.
Is that alucab more expensive than a traditional leer? Pros and cons?
It is more expensive than a leer. Pro's: - It's one complete piece and has a higher weight limit than a traditional fiberglass cab. We felt more comfortable with a roof top tent on it. - All 3 sides completely open up so gear is very accessible. - We got ours with windows for some added ventilation. - It comes with a brake light, three led lights inside and does a good job sealing out dirt and rain. - Secure, all of our gear is secure and all three sides lock. Con's: - Price, it's expensive - Hard to find, at the time we got ours the only company that had it in stock was in North Carolina - No accessories that can be mounted to the outside of the cab like we have seen on other vehicles. We have really enjoyed it and don't have any regrets getting it.
Nice. I think I heard Chrome from VCVL in the background. I've watched him for over 6 years.
That is Chrome, we discovered him when we got back from Canada last summer and have been watching him since.
