Just wanted to say, that I really enjoy your videos. I am happy I have found a creator with similar skinconcerns, especially the fungal acne. You always say if something is fungal acne safe or not and I really appreciate that!
I have been using several Garnier sunscreens lately and they work so well. Thankyou for this useful review 😊
Yes!!! Amazing video! I don't waste my time writing comments on videos but just wanted to say I really appreciate this video and you just earned a new follower ❤
Tinasorb M is one of my favorite filters. I like it in the Goodal Heartleaf sunscreen, but that one unfortunately irritates my skin. But for initial application it has a beautifying effect.
I use the P20 suncare for kids but this P20 for hyperpigmentation seems really amazing. 🤩
You definitely need to try the SVR Blur if you really want a mat finish. If you find the extreme mat, you will love that one. And good news ... there is a fragrance free version!😊 Please, try it.
Very nice with the demonstrations. Cool video
I always use the Ultrasun spf50 face tinted honey. This is a longlasting sunscreen die to lammelar science. Is riemann the same? Can i wear serums underneath this? Thanks for the reviews 👌🤩
Are you opposed to alcohol and old-generation filters but open to using botanical extracts and fragrances? I recommend conducting a patch test with a dermatologist to identify any potential allergens.
I tend to avoid fragranced products just as much as I tend to avoid old generation UV filters. Thank you for the recommendation.
The Skin Aqua Moisture Milk is my babyyyyyy
i must say, you look very good with short hair. your toned arms with short hair give off a very masculine vibe 😊
This is a bit out of a left field, but could you also film a video about your shaving (skincare) routine and maybe some recs. I've been struggling with post shave irritation a lot, thinking of using something Korean (aloe based maybe like Benton's)
I think we might be skin twins! I recently saw your video from last year and I have tried most of those. And I would review them exactly like that. All those I tried, exact same opinion! Except few minor differences. The SVR, it was my favourite sunscreen 2 year's ago. So easy to reapply sunscreen I went through multiple tubes. But eventually I started disliking then tacky feel that builds opp. Now I don't reach for it that often. But it's so nice and matt. Its perfect for some occasions. The la Roche posay tinted, completely agree, but the tint is a problem for me. I am to pale and I never use fake tan. So it's to much. Skin 1004, love it. But it's just a bit to moisturizing, and uva a protection lower than I like and not Water resistant. But for winter, inside day. It's great. Currently I am using La Roche posay Uvmune 400 Oil Control gel cream. I also use the oil control Fluid but having a bit of the same problem as you. I bought a new sunscreen yesterday. First day using it. But first impression, amazed! Replyed perfectly, semi matt. More matt then oil control gel cream. It's Avène Sun Cleanance SPF50+. It also have blue light protection. And the filter Triasorb. I think you reviewed one from the same line last year. Only downside is I am not sure about the uva protection. It's definitely pretty high. But is it as good as oil control gel cream? I am curious about the P20. I haven't really used that brand for my face before. Previous video you said it's less oily then the oil control gel cream. But here you said it was kinda oily 😅 So now I am not sure 😅 Tea🎉
My absolute favorite is the Eucerin Oil Control SPF50+. No other sunscreen reaches its mattifying power!
It’s objectively fantastic but seems to irritate my skin and burns in my eyes but maybe my barrier is just compromised
@@LukasBlau that’s so bad 😥 for some reason its alcohol level doesn’t bother me in the same way other sunscreens do.
Have you tried the EVY technology sunscreens? They make similar claims to the P20 and I find them very cosmetically elegant even for every day use, though they are quite expensive.
The P20 ones are really cheap in Spain for some reason. You can find the hyperpigmentation one for €12 at my local pharmacy. Think I’ll try it.
Isntree hyaluronic spf is my HG! No alcohol, no scent, no white cast, (slightly) dewy finish that doesn't make me look oily. I'm thinking of trying skin1004 next, but I'm just so in lovr with isntree's spf. Doubles as a moisturizer too
Love the Riemann P20 sensitive but it smells like you left Camembert cheese on the fridge for a couple of weeks.
Have you tried the Eucerin hydro protect face fluid? Been loving it this year, wonderful formula, sadly not water resistant.
What do you recommend for the body? Something that isn't greasy or sticky, something that actually gets absorbed.
That beauty of joseon stick pilled so bad on my face no matter what I did, had to repurpose dor hands. It also was pretty rigid that you need to drag your face skin quite a lot.
Hey Dan if you wanna recommend a single sunscreen for too oily skin then what it would be , only the new generation filters ,no alcohol....is skin1004 is good or you know a better option because the sunscreen which you have mentioned in the video are not available in my country, 😊,
moreover if you wanna recommend a sunscreen for too oily which you experienced is best for sweat/water resistant which can we use on regular basis inly new gen filters allowed then whst it would be ention your suggestion, I will figure out how to import it. HOPE YOU REPLY AND UNDERSTAND MY QUERY
Which one or maybe a completely different one from this video would you recommend to a regular man? A lot of sunscreens leave my skin looking shiny and it's personally not what I'm going for. It's best if it looks like I have nothing on my face if that makes sense. Thanks!
Have you tried any other Greek sunscreens?
A dermatologist recommended the Version BB Acne Solaire 30 SPF . Have you tried this one? Or can you try it? would be very interesting :)
No Eucerin? I personally really Like the oil Control spf50+
It’s very good but has old gen filters, alcohol and not the highest UVA protection.
dang,u still haven't bought the Orjena UV sun gel
also, the Loreal Bright Reveal Cream spf50 is amazing and matt
Unfortunately I can't use the P20 sunscreens cause I think all of them have Tinosorb M and Tinosorb A2B which leave a slight cast on my darker skin 😢😢
I suffer from severe facial rosacea. My face rejects many sunscreens. I hope you can share with us some solutions? I'm from Morocco
Can these be used as body sunscreen? What would you recommend?
You don’t have wrinkles. 😊. Your skin is perfect! How old are you ? If ya don’t mind me asking. I’d have guessed under 25 . Thanks for this great video 😊
If you like matte, you've got to try the 2024 Kose suncut sunscreen milk! Very affordable jbeauty but matte dry down
The La Roche Posay UVMune fluid broke me out, was too heavy and sticky. The cream version was much better but it stung my face but NOT my eyes (broken skin barrier?).
Yeah most probably your moisture barrier is no in the best shape
Would the P20 Hyperpigmentation ppd above 60 one be more protective than La roche Posay Uv Mune 400 for uva 1?
have you tried the p20 urban shield sunscreen? would love to know what you think about it
Question, last summer I had used LRP UVmune cream everyday in hot humid uv index 6-9 weather. But I still tanned (I’m naturally a light olive but I turned orange brown/no burning).
Why did I tan (tanning = sun damage right)??😭 is the sunscreen not working for me or am I not reapplying enough?
@@DumitruAlexandrov 2-3 pumps on face, I also wore makeup on top. I would usually be exposed to sun for around 4-5hrs. Also at the beach I would re apply but I don’t think uvmune is water resistant anyway:(
You need 5 pumps and when applying makeup you might disturb the protective layer of SPF. All UVMUNE are water resistant.
@@DumitruAlexandrov true, it was probably not enough application + makeup disturbance. Thank you!
Hi Dan, what do you think about the Sunmuse Clean Ocean of Beplain, please? I love the texture.
What sunscreen do you like for feet when you wear sandals etc
I literally tried BOJ Rice sunscreen, Isntree Hyaluronic acid Sunscreen, goodal heartleaf sunscreen, birch juice sunscreen. So basically all top korean sunscreens and they ALL caused red patches all over my face, literally after initial application skin looks good for 1 hour and then I get red blotches on my face that just don't go away for hours. The only sunscreen that I can wear is skin aqua sunscreen gel. Guys if anyone could recommend me any good sunscreens that do not has niacinamide are not water resistant and with a minimal ingredient list I would be very thankful 🙏
Do you think the Intermed SPF would blend it to very pale skintones? And does it have mineral filters? Thanks!
I don’t think it’s good for very pale skin tones. It has titanium dioxide.
@@DumitruAlexandrov I bought it anyway because I'm Greek and I was looking for an affordable mineral/hybrid sunscreen. Even though I'm paler than you it's still incredibly impressive. It just looks like I have a very subtle tan, but not orangey and the finish is amazing. I had no idea about this sunscreen, thank you for the great find!
I like *Biore UV Athlizm Skin Protect Essence* (the tube version), but it has some light fragrance, and has alcohol. However, it has been one of the least irritating one on my skin.
What do you mean new generation or old generation ?? Do you mean mineral vs chemical sunscreens?
Old generations are all the filters used in the US. For some reasons new generation filters aren't allowed in the US, so they have the worst sunscreens in the world
You should try the house of hur and goodal heartleaf sunscreens
I wanted it to my my HG so bad and have used up an entire tube. I usually applied it over moisturizer ( cerave cream ) and it was amazing. One day I was like hmm I should try it out just on its own without moisturizer, and it caused me to have red irritated patches all over my face and eyelids that lasted till I washed it off 😅
Have you tried the beauty of joseon ginseng sunscreen? If so, what do you think?
It has alcohol and essential oils. If someone sends it to me for free I would try it haha…otherwise I wouldn’t spend my money on it.
I like the skin aqua sunscreen! I just ordered 3 bottles lol. All American sunscreens burn my eyes 😂
What about Uriage Hyseac spf50+ ?
I wish La roche worked for me but they all irritate my skin. Even the fragrance free cream/fluid. I am probably sensitive to alcohol and/or octisalate. I have issues with most Japanese sunscreens which usually have octinoxate and/or alcohol. I have only found one Japanese sunscreen with no octinoxate, no mineral filters but a strong fragrance. I think I can only use it on my legs because of the fragrance and alcohol.
For some reason the cream stung my face but is the best sunscreen I've ever used for my eye area. Maybe it's due to a a broken skin barrier.
The fluid one broke me out and clogged my pores on the same day. Awful and sticky
@@kiren3168 Yeah, I probably have issues with my skin barrier. Been working on it for a while. I like the texture of the fragrance free cream. But it just irritates my skin. I don't mind the texture of the fluid but it doesn't really dry down or look that flattering.
I also think that I might be sensitive to the polysilicone they use as a UV filter. And that is pretty common in Japanese sunscreens and some Korean ones. Athlizm is the new one with no octinoxate (mist). I think it is mostly marketed for hair. House or Hur is one I want to try along with P20 sensitive.
Rohto skin aqua is amazing.
Dănuț ma uit la tine de câțiva ani, ești roman ? 🤔
@@DumitruAlexandrov vreau sa îți mulțumesc pt toate recomandările tale sunt de mare ajutor 🙏
The new kids version UVmune 400 dermopediatrics doesn't have octisalate. I have eczema and enjoy it
P20 kids also very good. better water resistance.
Yeah I love that one too. But for my body. I am having the same problem with Octisalate
Ugh the skin aqua gel burns my eyes so much , it’s unbearable.
Your top 10 sunscreens includes a product you claim you can’t even use because of the alcohol content? Why is it in your top 10? Like… what?
Because it offers the highest protection on the market and most people will be able to use it.
❤
White cast yes or no. Well either it’s mineral or chemical. Either gas zinc oxide or not. For someone who doesn’t use chemical sunscreen, or sunscreen with fragrance, drying alcohol etc, this wasn’t helpful.
Zinc oxide is not the only filter that can give a white cast. Looks like he is reviewing mostly european sunscreens so yeah a mineral one would never make it into any favorites list.
As much as I love P20 Kids for the beach (I am from the Canary Idlands), I have to admit that I’m not a fan of P20 Hyperpigmentation (I really want to love it): it is too greasy and it doesn’t work well with makeup at all. It is fine for outdoor activities or sports, but with makeup- a no no for me (and I have a combo skin).
My unbeaten heroes are Evy Sunscreens! UVA is about 42, but you get unnoticeable, light and bulletproof protection for about 6 hours (if you don’t swim or sweat) without greasiness or tackiness 🫣
@@PsiChoticDaily is the lightest. Sports is a little bit more “tacky”, but it comes in 100 ml bottle. I use both of them as they work great with make up and KIDS version for the beach 🙌🏼
@alyv.6285 thank you 😊 I already had the Daily one in my favorites but wasn't sure if it's worth it. I'm definitely buying it now 😁
@alyv.6285 nice to know. So far, my fav have been the La Roche Posay Oil Control Fluid, both tinted and non tinted, but I'm always on the lookout for other sunscreens 😄
La Roche Posay have just released 3 UV Mune sunscreens for kids with way less alcohol, you should try them, I find the texture much more elegant
the UVA-PF of those is about half that of the OG ones (like, about 24)
Really? Can you please share where you found that information? Very unfortunate if it’s true.
