Planthopper in Brunei

A sap-sucking Planthopper from the Flatidae family, and related to aphids. These ones are actually the young (larval stage) of a very different-looking insect, some examples can be seen here: goo.gl/dbGScT Many insects undergo metamorphosis like this and change dramatically as they mature, such as caterpillars growing into butterflies. Thanks to Dr Arthur for helping with the ID. ~ Hayden Reynol...
Christmas tree worm

Spirobranchus gigantean, or commonly known as Christmas tree worms, are tube building polychaete worms. The most distinct feature is the multi-coloured spiral, which is used to trap food and also for respiration. These creatures are sedentary, anchoring themselves in burrows that they bore into corals. When disturbed, they retract into the burrows to hide from predators. No Christmas tree worms...

I'm blown away with the videography.. It represents well of ourvcountry ecosystem...our jungles are pristine, relevant govt agencies needs to ensure that we protect it along with the inhabitants.. Masques displacement are rampant an indicator that planning of the well being of these animals needs to be thought of. I would love to see Bruwild take on this initiative.
