The Wright Brothers Bicycle Shop Ford Museum
The original Wright Brothers Bicycle Shop and childhood home were purchased from Orville Wright in 1929 by Henry Ford. They are on display at the Greenfield Village, a part of the Ford Museum in Dearborn Michigan. The curator at the shop was very passionate about telling the story of the Wright Brothers invention of the first airplane. I have seen the original plane at the Smithsonian museum in Washington DC.

The Mammoth Site Hot Springs South Dakota

The largest discovery of mammoth bones in the world. A sink hole created a pond that trapped many animals over a period perhaps spanning 100,00 years. This included many mammoths, short faced bears, and many other species of animals. They have uncovered 61 mammoths so far, but drill samples show there are bones 60’ lower than the current excavations. It is an ongoing dig site, with scientists w...
Deer and turkeys at our campsite near Rushmore

We were at Rushmore View Rv in Keystone South Dakota when a herd of deer came to eat acorns that were falling from several oak trees. Only two appear in the video, but at least eight came several times per day. Other visitors to the oak tree were 12 wild turkeys, as well as squirrels and birds. This is a daily occurrence according to full time campers we talked to.

The tube is 3/4 of a mile long, and has 30’ high ceilings in places. We spoke to several people who had went the full length of the cave and back. They said it gets very narrow at the end. It was extremely difficult terrain as you were climbing over large ro...

Good morning. This is Ted from Texas. Understand the true nature of the Civil War it's a lot more complex than just fighting for the rights to own slaves or own people. A lot of people believe it is just for that. It is a lot more and a lot more in-depth. Having people's civil rights and states rights Being Stepped On by the federal government it's just another small part of it. People who fought this this war meaning the common Soldier would never own slaves in their life. This is on both sides. It is such a complicated issue people just don't understand what transpired. I have been to Gettysburg a great number of times. It brings tears to my eyes knowing the battle occurred here and thousands and thousands of men died. Finding the true nature of what lives in the hearts of men might be daunting challenge. But we must never forget history ever. If we do not remember everything that we have done good in bad we will repeat it again. And the time we are in now in this country I am scared that just may happen. I pray to God not

Forms change and pass; bodies disappear; but spirits linger, to consecrate ground for the vision-place of souls… generations that know us not and that we know not of, heart-drawn to see where and by whom great things were suffered and done for them, shall come to this deathless field, to ponder and dream; and lo! the shadow of a mighty presence shall wrap them in its bosom, and the power of the vision pass into their souls.” -Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain
