Stravinsky - The Rite of Spring for piano 4-hand
Excellent. This is a wonderful interpretation that I'm really enjoying.
She's super!
The Aria is like Bach's own version of Nocturne
Babies...We have the meats!!! (instead of Arby's)
The three voices are sung distinctly, almost analytically. Excellent performance.
Can someone please explain the program notations ״a 2 Clav.” “a 1 Clav.” and “ o vero “? I can’t believe my own brain trying to tell me it is for 2 keyboards?
I can understand her intention of expression based on the emphasis and contrast of nuanced passages , but I think something stagnant of the music , and also feel the steezy touch op.101 inherently possesses is faded because of the attempt to be through in it.
Very musical, except with too many slips to really enjoy the music.
Beautiful. Some liberties were taken in this performance, but with an instrument that is so limited in dynamics, the artist may embellish to provide expression.
Actually the harpsichordist is following 18th century performance practice rather than “taking liberties” The piano has its limitations, too.
superb!
Very nice sounding harpsichord. However, she is not playing accurately. Her left hand is not in exact unison with her right hand.
Deliberately. Did you REALLY think she didn't know? She's a professional, for God's sake! This is a matter of personal taste. What an unutterably stupid post!
Thank you very much. I enjoyed this excellent performance.
Zi Liang.... you are amazing!!! I love the goldberg variations!!! I love Bach🥰🥰
Wow! Exquisite interpretation of such a monumental work! 😁
Loved your song Liang! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🤩
beautiful! the parts are nicely separated - thank you for sharing!
A great recording. Thanks for uploading!
🌹 🌹 🌹
Danke, sehr klar und präzise gespielt. Und trotzdem gefühlvoll und menschlich.🎹🎶👍
This is so beautifully played! 💝 I'm curious though, if I may kindly ask? What is the purpose of playing the first note in the left hand a little bit before the note in the right hand, even though they are both on the same beat? Is it to distinguish more clearly between the different melodies/voices...?
Yes, and I would also add that it’s more of a stylistic choice as well.
I think it is a bit fractured sounding, unsyncopated
Is is NOT a style of any Baroque school of performance and she is wrong for doing so.
Lovely performance! Thank you for sharing this. 💐
A Dowd Blanchet, I perceive.
Yes!
Muchísimas gracias por tan gran maravilla! 🌹🌹🌹

@@ziliang1537 This is the best and most satisfying 1hr I've spent for a long time now.
Original,, et bien👍 joué... Bravo😇 🌺👍☀
Miz Liang should wear sneakers or other soft soled shoes. Her foot stomping is irritating. Her playing is wonderful.
I totally agree.
It's the Glenn Gould singing of the 21st century.
It is the percussion section (like they do with flamenco guitar playing)!
Bravissima!!!!
I enjoy your lightly performance, thanks you a lot. Reminds me Wanda Landowska version
Grandiosly superfluous
Excellent!
oh yea.
Variaciones Sublimes...!!!
Great!!
Bravo!!
You learned quite a lot from the 1964 Leonhardt - and use it excellently!
Thank you! I couldn’t resist to listen and learn from that particular performance…
弹得真好
Tellement + beau et intéressant qu'au piano moderne ! Faut dire aussi que c'est magnifiquement joué...
Her performance is unrivaled by anyother persons Her performance‘s splendor of words can not arrive
Thank you for listening!
@@ziliang1537 You are welcome I hope you are well
She holds an unchallenged position as an interpreter of Bach She is a great Alchemist of harpsicord
Who is she?
Wow, this is amazing! I like harpsichord version!
FYI It is not a version; It's the original. Bach went to Northern Germany to see a piano built by Silbermann. Bach did not have a piano similar to the ones we know nowadays.
Parabéns muito bom.
Wonderful💐💐
Thank you for this superb performance of such a difficult work.
Thank you for listening.
Molto dolce 🌺
Merci madame pour cette vidéo !
Thank you for watching!
the harpsichord is an amazing instrument is it not!
Thanks for subscribing!
yes
It makes this rendition so much easier to follow!
I have to add… I never really even began to understand and appreciate these variations or the main aria until each voice has the perfect balance that only a harpsichord can achieve! No attempt by the performer to emphasize one voice over the other can possibly succeed! (Not even Glenn Gould could make me enjoy and appreciate these gems the way this performer does)
@@dougr.2398 oh wow, I am SO happy to read this and know that you have enjoyed my performance. Thanks for listening and your kind words.
Beautiful!
