THERMOSTAT TEST FOR NATURAL GAS STOVE

Had to test a cooling thermostat that controls the fan on our natural gas stove that we use to heat the house in winter. I couldn't find anything on UA-cam or the internet to explain how to do this. Found all kinds of vids on how to test a heater thermostat in appliances like ovens, or for a home HVAC system (wall thermostat for a hot air furnace), and even how to test your engine thermostat on...

    I have been fighting these gutter splices for years. Every single time they fail and leak. Maybe this time I will lubricate the barely glued on seals on the inside so they do not peel back when you apply force to drive them in. Silicone fails every time, I even tried using vinyl glue to stop the leaking. This time I am going to use Loctite vinyl glue which seems to be recommended most often. I think the cure is just to use a different system that might cost a bit more.

    I have the parts list, electrical drawings and exploded views in front of me and I only see one fuse in the listing. Also, the place number, 19, is not drawn anywhere. I'm pretty much certain many of those things called "fuse" in your video are actually sensors or switches ... The fuse listed is a very standard glass fuse. Parts: WG02F00564

    Do you alternate or scatter the joints so all are not at the same place up the entire wall? How do you do that? Like wood flooring of a 3 board spacing pattern?

    • @AverageGuyDIY
      @AverageGuyDIY 4 місяці тому

      Yes that's the idea. It will happen automatically, just take full pieces of siding and mount them to the wall until the last one. The last one will most likely be too long so you will need to cut it. Use the cut piece to continue the wall by taking it back to the original starting place (above the fist piece you placed). This will create the pattern.

    thanks for the video instructions. i experienced the same problem and took the speaker off today . but then i decided to test it outside the car. when i connected it to another audio source suprisingly the speaker worked. so now i am confused whether to buy a new one or search for other reasons of this fault. i mean speaker works with other audio output but when connected to car it simply does not work. Can it be a bad fuse on the car that controls this hazard and signal light speaker? thanks

    For those who have this model or similar: Mine was dead, with no lights or display. I followed this gentleman’s strip down but when I looked in the top right hand corner, behind the grill, I could see a glass fuse but couldn’t find access to it by removing a panel, nor was I able to remove the grill. I ended up by cutting 3 bars off the front grill and was then able to remove the fuse which was glass and 20amps. (I knew the plastic fascia would cover over the cut grill) Tested it and it worked fine. Reassembly was straight forward. Thanks for giving me the confidence to attempt the repair.

      @@majareshe There is a grill in the top right hand corner of the microwave once you remove the top plastic cover. If you look through the grill you’ll see red white and yellow wires and next to the red wire you can just see the end of a glass fuse. I cut the bars with a dremmel and was able to replace the fuse. If I had your email I’d be able to send you a picture. I don’t know how to add a pic to this reply.
