Yay! Happy dance for you. While there's always someone looking to get someone for free or little to nothing, this is exactly why i dont do discounts, sales or clearance bins. It teaches people to look for cheap prices not quality of work. I make a wide range of price points. $3 items are set out just as if they were $10 items. A $3 item might be a very simple snail that takes 10 minutes to make and is made from scraps. They get cheap, I get my worth and used up scraps.

Congratulations on your successful event. I've been waiting for your video. I miss seeing your smiling face and celebrating your success. Maybe for those who want freebies, you can make a grab bag box, containing some of your smaller items or older plushies for a small price $3.00. Then you can donate those monies to organization of your choice, such as the breast cancer association or some charity. Remember charities donations are tax deductible. This way can be a win/ win your customer has a product of yours to cherish and you helped a worthy cause.

I say make some Mushroom Bois using Rose and Lily tutorial. they sell at every show for me at $35 using sweet snuggles lite. Also Opossums, jumping spiders, ghosts with hats and axolotyls

I would have just said no to the child as far as exchange. it was a gift. if she acted like she didn't like it I would have just said I will take it back or you can gift it to your mom! I'm a tough cookie.

They gave you the food they wanted you to have. You gave her the plushie you wanted her to have. That should have been the end of it.

Congratulations on a better event. I think you were fair with the little girl. If she wanted a larger item, she needed to perhaps get her mom over there to purchase it. You were kind to give her an item and a choice. Next time I agree with @froggyHolleraches setting boundaries is a perfect idea, i.e.. she can exchange for something of equal value. I know her coming back kind of caught you off guard, as you were packing up. I know setting boundaries is your expertise. I love the red couch background by the way. ☺😇

Yay for the win! And good for you being able to shop for yarn right in your own stash for a month. That's not always easy. As far as the little girl, I completely understand how you felt. However, even though she was ungrateful to want something different, you did ask her which one she wanted without setting any boundaries until she kept picking out big items and you got frustrated. There's nothing wrong with having someone with you to help. I have a whole "crew" so to speak but they all know if they want paid, they better be making something to put on those tables. Lol

Im glad your market wenr better. Girl, i haven't posted them to my IG, but i wanted a cheeky ghost. I made a few modifications to your cheeky beakies, and they turned out perfectly! I removed two rounds of 24 stitches and added two additional rounds where the butt started. I also did BLO on the 32 stitch round after that decrease. Thank you so much for that pattern!

Your items are gorgeous!! I don't find farmers markets to be very profitable for our business. Please try festivals or other events that ask for vendors. Don't get discouraged. My most profitable events have been car shows, believe it or not. Good luck with your future ventures

Kudos for using up your yarn. I really like the pumpkin flippy. Especially because you can use it for two holidays. I could use the Ghost for Halloween and the Pumpkin for Thanksgiving. Very Good Vivian.

This may seem counter-productive but try increasing your prices a bit. Sometimes in crafter markets lower priced items dont sell as well because some people have a cheaper=infearior/badly made mindset. Keep a few things lower cost so everyone can afford something. Maybe try it out at a few markets and you can always lower prices again if it doesnt work.

I have a market coming up in October and last year I had a lot of the same things a few other crocheters had, like turtles, axolotls, chickens. I sold a bit, but the things no one else had sold the best. I had a vampire cat, some squid, and puffer fish. This year I'm making some aliens, monkeys, more squid, and hippos. I'm also going to make some loaf cats. I'll let you know how it goes..:)

This was the most enjoyable pattern roundup video that I have watched to date. I love the patterns, but it was your personality and style that captured my attention.
