I love this so much! The lucky moms that can fully sustain the part of them by continuing to give them life! This is not shaming mom's that give their babies formula. It's actually grief 😔 from this mom that will likely never get to breastfeed her beautiful baby girl🥺😭 My baby girl is 6mths old and has been in the NICU since birth. I wasn't allowed to hold my baby until she was 7wks 😢Til now I can only pump but very little. It's only 1 or bearly 2 oz but can be as small as 20mL every 3 hours😓 The nurses wait until I have pumped enough to give her atleast 1 full feeding. I despise pumping so much. I just wish I could have the beautiful connection & bonding that breastfeeding offers with my beautiful baby girl 👶🏻 💕

I was having a issue of uric acid when my 1st baby girl was 1year 4 months old then my doctor said it's enough to feed mothers milk for 1 year now child doesn't get any nutrients & you are making ur health in risk then i quit feeding & trust me after that my baby girl became more dependent & the other side my cousing sis still feeding her 4 yrs son her milk & trust me her son still can't eat food that is totally wrong & she also having lots of health issues due to this so it's better to quit feeding on time everthing looks gud if we do everything according to time else is your choice I'm not questioning you... Mama khows their kids well

If you and your kid are healthy, do what you need for however long you need honestly.

Honestly in my personal opinion anything over a year and a half maybe two years is bad only because of the development of the teeth and health reasons now I love the idea of breast milk in sippi cups or pumping and stuff and leaving them on your chest when they drink from their cup so you still get those cuddles and have a healthy kiddo 😊

My mums all stopped breast feeding us at 6 months, make sense since that’s when babies can have solids. I believe past 12 months is more for the mother than for the child.

People don’t understand that you keep breastfeeding until a child would be taken off the bottle. When your child is done using a bottle that would also be the same time you stop breastfeeding. A child should not be on the bottle or breast feeding at 4 years old
