Does anyone know how to make the black transparent instead? It keeps showing up against other objects in my scene.
Go to render properties, light path, jncrease transparency
@@my3darts Thanks. That did work, however, I also had to change the alpha settings on the first coloramp to zero at the black end to make it transparent, and the other coloramp with white only at both ends.

Amazing, but just one observation, the deepest black of your foootage can´t be more black than the deepest black of the back ground.

I'm stuck. 4.2 patch seems to have a different layout and the options at 3:15 are different. Also, I could not find ambient occlusion, screen space reflections or bloom.
You don't want to do that, just enable screen space ray tracing

Go to render properties, light paths, transparent, increase the count

it is in blend file, so you can't export it. but you can render as video and use them for your project
