$200
Thank you very much sir! You just made my fuzzy nipples very hard!!!!
Broke the bolts off...ugh
This is why I use sand paper to remove mine. No slip
This didnt work for me... waste of $45!!!!!
Did you ever get your off inwas thinking of ordering one of their tools
@KeithR3 didn't work for my 22 toyota filter. I tried for hours but the fitting of the tool was bad!!! Ended up swallowing my pride calling my dad he looked at the tool and laughed. Pulled out a good size hammer and punch and had it off in less than 5 mins... this tool might work for some, sadly not for me. I should have used a hammer and punch to begin with but I felt odd hacking at a new car lol
@@Aaron-c2y4l " I'm giving her all she's got" i had to take it to a mechanic $135 oil change 😔.. so i empathize
I think all these other comments claiming it works were fake scam accounts... I'll be making a video soon showing how useless this is
Just ordered mine!! hoping it works out!!! i will be forever grateful if so! I spent too much money on my car to have to go hacking at it to remove this filter!!!
Never saw an oil filter stuck that bad before. I think think my van filter was stuck pretty good one time and I just stabbed a screw driver in the side to get it started. A little messy but got the job done.
I would never drill a hole or otherwise render a filter totally unusable thereby turning a troublesome situation into a possible calamity if the removal fails. While the filter is intact, the motor can operate. What's interesting in the video, is the filter actually tightens @.42. So the device is shown to work on a filter which is not solidly jammed. This raises the question of whether the device could remove the filter base if it were solidly jammed.
You would if you wanted it off and everything else failed. Or just leave the filter on forever. You think maybe what you noted about the filter not being solidly jammed might be because this was a demonstration? Lots of reviews claim it got them out of a jam. I know, they're all made up reviews.
My hobby is shooting PCP air rifles and pistols. My supply tank when full is 4500# . I fill it with a 20:1 Haskell air multiplier. It doubles as my strutt supply system by adding a Schrader valve. The supply line is a micro hose which restricts flow. Works very well.
Beautiful -If you have the room.
Harbor Freight
How are you determining the correct amount of fluid to service the strut with? Looks like a nice system.
No explanation at all
The jack sits too close to the wheel. Wide bottom skis would be hard to install like that.
Waaaaay too tight !
Tried every trick in the book to remove an old oil filter off a 57 Chevy. Turned a 20 min oil change into a three day project. After several broken tools and muscle soreness all over, I ordered this talon tool. Came off with very little effort. Complete lifesaver. Don't break your back, buy this tool!
We are glad tp hear you were finally able to get that stuck oil filter off using the Talon! The Talon can take a huge job and turn it into a quick and simple task!
apa napake anne?
Really. $319 for that?
For the gasket, can you find a replacement at a hardware store?
Question. I’ve got your first generation slide pump. Is air supposed to push out the two inlet holes on the power strike? Mine does and I don’t thing I’m getting much air charge to the oleo strut. How to fix?
I have one and have used it a few times It's easy to use
Just gotta hijack a jumbo jet, they are bound to have on of those tools on board. Aw heck, i'll just buy an oil filter socket.
A MUST HAVE IF YOU MESSED UP! I broke and shredded my hands for over two days trying to remove the overtightened oil filter on my Ram 1500. I drove over 200KM to pick one up to free my truck from its oil-less state. It took more time to calibrate the tool to fit my Fram (crap) oil filter than I spent finally removing the oil filter from the deep crevasses of the truck. 20ish minutes later (and cutting open a brand new Fram oil filter to perfectly fit from the inside of the filter) I snagged the tool on to the mangled oil filter and VOILA, it came off. You CAN make your own jig to remove the filter. BUT WHY? BTW...the tool is VERY different that the one in this video. Much better!
Don't understand why you cut open the new filter.....why didn't you just align the tool with the exposed holes of the new filter from outside the filter, like they show in their instructional videos?
most of my flying was c47 during the korean war they ran so smooth i was i air borne so never landed in one that i can remember prob. one of the safest planes made
The operation was a success, but the patient died.
Great idea but there is no space under my truck to work with this method. No go
It worked perfectly for me. I'm glad to have it just in case I encounter this situation again.
would like to see the other tools you used for nitrogen servicing and pressures, good video!!
This is a very smart idea and I really liked how easy it was and no mess involved. We used to service struts on the F-15 and it was a pain. Messy and potentially dangerous if the equipment was poor or you weren't careful. We always had poor equipment (military grade) and I saw people almost push the aircraft off the tripod jacks trying to compress the struts.
And for the nose gear tire?
Lol, like I can get a drill in there on an old civic !! 🙄
Rubber expands a lot with heat, especially compared to metal, so first step is to let the engine cool if it is giving you trouble.
Only feasible if you have the space to get a drill in.
The drill is only one method. Ant way you can open the can and remove the cartridge works.
Man this would be really useful if they put the oil filter in a spot you can do this
Half the time reaching it is the hardest part! Luckily we made our tool adjustable for those tight spaces.
1 to 2 weeks it is in production....that is not good!
We agree, the supply chain disruption has hit us hard in the manufacturing industry. We are doing our best to keep up with the demand and shipping out as soon as possible!
How long did it take for your to come
@KeithR3 I got mine in about 3 days... what kind of car you have and what filter... I'll try to see if I think it will work
@@KeithR3 where you located, I'd gladly give mine away. Would be nice if it could help someone since it's of no use to me
@@Aaron-c2y4l 2010 Chevy traverse I've tried it all every wrench 🛠️ ,🪛, belt, strap.. small space i just took it to a mechanic.. Thanks for responding tho!!
purchased this unit, but the gooseneck fitting does not have clearance on a Piper Arrow nosewheel strut valve. Bogert doesn't show this on their videos since they always main gear struts for which there is plenty of clearance. Anybody know what fitting to purchase to retrofit the hose so I can gain clearance access to the nose strut valve? Nothing shows up in the bogert website
I want to let you know that Bogert Aviation has a number of strut valve extensions that help getting things hooked up If you look up 16M-SVE2 you will see a 2 inch extension and there is a drop down that lets you select a Straight, 90, 45 or a 135 degree strut extension. As far as I know, Bogert is the only aviation source that has them. bogertaviation.com/collections/aircraft-strut-servicing-tools/products/2-strut-valve-extender
I am studying for Air Warfare quals and wasn’t sure what a tire bead breaker was. This video was very helpful as a starting point.
We're so happy to hear this was helpful for you!
Did this pliers and a big flathead in between
This is use less because usually you don’t have room
Amazing
I am going on 8 days with trying to remove me oil filter on my 64 F100. The filter shredded leaving just the top. I tried everything, then saw your video! I will get one ASAP. Thank you for thanking them!
I'm glad you saw the video and I'm sure we can help. I can't tell you how many times I have heard a similar story. The Talon works.
What keeps the clamp or jack pad from chipping or scratching the paint?
The 30M-FPP jack pad does not have a history of damaging the paint. Once in place, it doesn't move. You can however place a rag or thin pad between the gear leg and the jack pad if you are concerned about it. We sell a lot of these jack pads and receive no complaints.
I use a piece of silicone baffling material.
Savannah did a good job of explaining the tool. This is a great tool because you can use this on the ramp, in the wind and when your jacks are in use on other airplanes. It is safe in that the airplane never leaves the ground.
Where can I buy one of these units?
Purchase them directly from Bogert Aviation (Preferred ) or through Aircraft Spruce
@@richardbogert7675 I checked your website today and It said sold out

or just use your manly big hands to loosen filter just sayin
I've yet to see a filter that couldn't be removed by a chain & spray oil.
Thank you for discussing single drive mags. I always was wondering about them
Are you crazy. There's never enough room for these methods
