Toyota highlander 2008-2012 alarm that keeps going off at different times especially at night! Solution was removing the fuse that says S-horn (security horn) in the fuse box located in engine compartment.

It did not work. my alarm still goes off periodically even after removing the fuse.
@@sendfile-e6w if that doesn’t work the issue is the latch on the hood, u either replace the latch or cut cables that connect latch to alarm. (I didn’t go that far but some other videos people did)
@@sendfile-e6w and also there are 2 fuse related to that i think one was horn and another one was “s” horn

From the info I found online you have to cut the wire then splice it together … did you do that?
I did cut some wires by hood latch. I wish i had tried first the fuse but i ended up doing both
At worst case scenario the issue is the hood latch.

I believe the toyotas that's expiencing this alarm issues , may be built in north American. If your vin # doesn't start with J then you and I got a toyota made in america.
I disconnect the horns by the hood hatch and took fuses out. The problem went away for months but recently came back to mess with me. So this time , I disconnected a wire by the hatch ( i believe its the main hood hatch alarm because i traced the wire from the hatch to somehtjng else ) but I didn't splice it to whatever other videos were talking about. I hope this works.

Not sure if you asked about pricing, when i bought it was 2k in 24” and came in leas than a week. Pretty sure it should be a little higher the price since gold goes up in value

Not sure, i always had a soft spot for flat curbs and they take the beating of a life time.
You have to splice the wires to complete the circuit. Before or after the connector.

Believe it or not i ended up not liking the with on my neck, i want to go smaller but on a cuban link. You should check out garcias miami cuban links. They have some videos on youtube and this people are like #1 at moment. Im considering 8mm one

I couldn't quite make up what the bracelet is. Where it is from? I am trying to decide if I like the concave look of the Jacoje flat vs other flat curb like your bracelet.
Jacoje stopped selling concaves, and bracelet i dont remember where i got it from but it was not jacoje
I took this fuse out and it still goes off at night.
I took my fuse out as he said and laid down to take a nap and what do ya know it kept going off. So after I got up from my awful nap I went out and in the fuse box there were 3 extra fuses. One was the 7.5 like the one he said to take out. So, I put the new fuse in and so far so good, the alarm hasn't gone off. That was around 9:30 pm and it's now 4:11 am and doing good so far. I'm glad it had an extra new fuse for a spare. Try a new fuse and see if it does the trick as mine is so far.
How’s it still going for you? I just took my old fuse out to see if that suffices. That extra fuse is my next attempt if needed.

Well these days some cuban links makers are putting a 14m/18k plating in top of 10k that eventually will discolor to 10k color and i personally dont like that faded yellow copper color 10k becomes

Hang straight is a test for cuban links hand made, this is a flat curb and machine made it doesn’t hang straight. Neither a cuban link machine made probably.

This band-aids the issue with no horn going off but it doesn't fix the issue. Something is triggeri g the alarm and now I have no notification of the alarm going off. But it will help our ears
True but mine has 244k mi on it. Would love to get a 1-2 years more usage on it and far from then primary car. If someone wants to steal it then they are doing me a favor. :-)
My only question is is this chain too flat like paper thin or does it have some thickness? I’ve been trying to get a concave curb like jacoje used to sell but he stopped selling them. Those things were thick and chunky… So now I’m debating getting a 10mm jacoje flat curb as someone local to me is selling one. How do you feel about the chains thickness? Is it still kind of thick and not paper thin.
They are not flat flat like paper, jacoje is one the best ones out there as far as quality, the links are tighter than other flat curbs i had seen, also the weight tells you they are not paper flat. Others 10mm flat curb i have seen they weight around 45grams while jacoje doubles that weight usually. My recommendations to you is ask for more pictures to the seller, or ask the seller to meet with u in person for you to see it because its a nice chunk of change. If you want thicker not paper cut have u considered a cuban link? Even though it will be double the price….

@@fossil8358 Removing that fuse has fixed our problem. Am still contemplating the switch and cleaning, replacing or altering it, plus repositioning the fuse.

If you're referring to box locks, they're very uncommon for flat links

if they discolor something isnt right. they my dull a little but thats why they make polish. whole reason for buying gold is it wont oxidize in high purity. i dont like gold chains, i prefer bars but i like silver chains a lot. beautiful chain though. looks really nice.
Agree, i had this chains before (from jacoje) in smaller sizes and took them every where pool, beach… constantly and all i did was washing it once in a while with dawn soap and look like new after. The cubans i had have in the past i had to take it to get polished but when u do that you loose some gold in the process. So i just got tired of that
With that weight in 10mm 24” 14 its hollow. Its not solid, they weigh aprox 170-200gram. In that size.

He’s talking about a Miami Cuban link chain where the links are bigger and thus weigh more. Your chain is solid, not hollow, and the gram weight is what it’s supposed to be for that style link

From 7mm you have to go 9 or 10 because if you go 8mm you wont see the difference between 7&8. Happened to me.
