Im a recovering addict and I go by the name of Brian, aka "wawa Brian". Welcome to TruthAddiction, a channel I created that deals with addiction and all the ways it manifests itself. Whether you are addicted to drugs, food, gambling, sex, toxic relationships, or shopping...the disease of addiction is all inclusive. I have been free from active addiction for 6 years now. And thats all due to 12 step recovery. The disease of addiction is broad and outside the realm of just using drugs. This channel will explore the exact nature of the disease and dive into its effects on the brain, and talk about the importance of a 12 step recovery program.

You fuckers are fighting the wrong battle and you know it. We both know where it comes from. We both know the back yard of pharmaceutical production is shared by everyone. Pointing out the hurting and grieving to appear saint like is self indulgent, false and leaves the ones you're supposedly helping exactly where you found them. Under your jump boot.
Amen brother. I’ve been sober over 6 1/2 years now I use no narcotics at all no no drinking nothing completely sober and been in the streets. I’ve been lost my business several times you know addiction is serious and it’s very powerful. I support this channel stay strong stay sober.

It's gotten so bad lately
I live 10 mins from that area. The situation is out of pocket. The only thing i try to do is show them that there is a better way of life.

I hate to break it to you but there is a guy named Robert F Kennedy and even though he is from a family famous for being Democrats he has endorsed Trump and have a cabinet position, he's sharp and very focused on health he's a former addict.

KAMALA IS useless Trump's plan is a proven plan that works, I had a savings account w savings in it until this current administration got in. Now I'm working 2 jobs 80 hours a week and they can't say get a better job and skills. I make 25$ an hr as a heat treater and 21 an hr painting
I still think were all paying the price for how the whole covid thing went down. Companys realized all this free money is going around and raised prices on there goods.

Man I have 18 months clean on August 17 but I keep that desperation I felt close before I decided to get clean after loosing everything and relied on heroin everyday to function….it isn’t easy but your right it gets easier and it came to a point where I was just done went to detox/treatment and decided to change my life….#wedorecover

At 27, I took my last shot and almost died. It took them a minute to get the bathroom door open. I was just laying on my floor with the needle in my hand. They hit me with narcan in the back of the ambulance. Jesus kept me alive until they got there, I'm 34 now and have used that stuff since that day. I have no more chances, I used them all up.

Just found you at 2:22 am by complete accident. Been sober for 32(coming up 33)years,and sometimes I still crave a couple of fingers of single malt.Bought a bottle when my husband literally died at my feet.3 years later,gave that very UNOPENED bottle away.Going through some things now and the cravings are rearing their ugly head.
