I love that while no one else can touch him for more time than or in a different way then what is necessary, Snork doesn't seem to mind Snorkmaiden touching him - though in that hug she gave him I did notice that he shut his eyes in a flinchy way and she let go immediately after. My own autistic character likes hugs from family as long as they warn him first, and can be a real cuddle bug with them, but it is just that: exclusive to his family members.

I love the voice they gave for this incarnation of the joxster! I always read his voice as somewhat low and a little brash in the books. The 90s moomin anime (at least the English dub) was disappointing since it was just Snufkin’s voice but only slightly different.

Even if we don’t have a scene of snufkin and joxter At least we’re getting the original characters back. It’s not moomin valley without them.
