How does this compare to 4hawks I've never seen a single video comparing both, compared to the xr and sr the sr is 2x range so 10.12miles in real world and xr is 20.24 miles real world use and in perfect conditions 17.4 miles (sr-34.8miles)(xr-69.6) if it was perfect conditions💀

I would recommend a much wider, thinner blade to separate the case shells than that little screwdriver. A putty knife would seem to be much less likely to scratch up your case and would apply pressure along a much wider area. That being said, the RC Pro is a $1,000 device and I know for sure I don't want to go pulling internal assemblies apart nor making any modifications that can't be easily reverted back to stock condition without pulling the entire device all over again, especially when the device I'm attaching to it is going to cost another $1,000 or so to the total cost.

Is there any difficulty in guiding the device towards the drone? Because this device reduces the angle of signal spread

I'd never imagine that "I" ( who always had 2 " left " hands to fix anything serious) would be able to modify my RC Pro controller. Firstly, I've ordered extra connections with cables. It took me about 1 h to watch ( 2 times ) your video before I've made the final decision to take risk to do potentially " destroy " my new RC PRO ( I've got Mavic 3 Pro ). Step by step, I was following your instructions, checking 2-3 times every movement & and after 1.5 h I DID IT !! My Alientech booster " clicked " to the new possicion . Booster It's working amazingly. Thank you so much. This video is just FANTASTIC.

I followed your video instructions and installed the antenna upgrade. It worked out VERY good! The external antenna more than doubled my range! Even though I can see the the effects of a stronger signal, the measured distance shown on my DJI RC transmitter is not accurate - it's shorter than it should be. There seems to be the need for some sort of calibration to display an accurate distance with the new external antenna installation. Am I correct?

Whats the point? Stock remote can already reach out further than the battery can go however while this antenna isnt needed the install kit here can be very useful. Im my case i installed 2.4ghz omnidirectional antennas onto the roof of my house and ran 50 ft of low loss LMR 400 down to my man cave . Then hdmi out to my 65 inch tv. And with all this i still have more range then battery. Its great for a more portable version with antennas with magnetic mounts for your car!

You need to STOP selling these bloody overpriced kits UNTIL you update the beginning of the video with the warning that not every RC-N1 controller in use today is built the same. There are different variations that render your kits useless and I feel bad for the people buying these only to come here to this video *(that is attached via QR code on the parts bag you receive.) only to find out that they bought parts that don't even fit on their model of RC-N1 tx controller.

12:53 drilling of holes into the controller.. this scene was removed for some reason? you can see the controller plastic debris around the mat. and throughout the video where the back of the controller is visible, there are no holes for these 2 screws.

Autel advertises 7.4 miles, 11,909 Meters... That's more then what this guy did. You run out of battery before distance. Don't think its worth 600 bucks.

Has anyone purchased this to test ? Does it transmit the multi freq that Autel uses ?

Yo I don’t have near the amount of patience for that. Who can I pay for installation?

The battery life on these kits are appalling. I was literally observing the Battery status and it was counting down like every 30 seconds 😅. You can't really enjoy nor risk flying out too far without the battery running out. It is however understanding that these DJI drones have a smart function that can calculate the needed distance to call back home (return to the starting position before battery runs out) Whether this has been tested and risked by owners however is yet unknown and still to be confirmed.

Sorry if been asked by I already took apart my remote with others antennas I bought which is OK. They work. Can I still use those same wires to save myself trouble or difference between them and yours. I would like to think they're the same.
