The ALIENTECH DUO II that 2.4G+5.8G Dual-band Signal Booster with a power amplifier, which applies to all DJI Drones' accessories, which include Mavic Pro, Mavic 1/2 pro/zoom/Mini, Mini 2, Mini 3 pro/Air, Air 2, Air 2s /Platinum/Enterprise, Mavic 3, RC N1/RC PRO, 1Phantom 3/4 A/Advanced/Pro/V2.0/RTK, Inspire 1/2 Pro, Matrice 100/300/200/210/600 Pro, Smart controller, Cendence. Parrot Anafi, Autel EVO/II/PRO, Lite+/Nano+...
ALIENTECH DUO II signal booster is a fantastic, active directional antenna with two power amplifiers for a range extender, applicable to the 2.4Ghz-2.4835Ghz and 5.725Ghz-5.850Ghz frequency band. With a substantial transmission gain of 28-30dBi and a significant receiving gain of 23-25dB, it can enhance wireless signal strength, lengthen the transmission distance, stabilize signal reception, and support wifi and OcuSync Protocol.
With actual use tests, it has been proven that controllability will be remarkably improved after installation. That drone distance will be three times more than the original one. You can even easily break the flight limit of the drone's power and obtain an especially sound manipulation in the interference area with excellent anti-interference performance.
ALIENTECH DUO II booster can not only effectively stretch the signal distance of a 2.4G drone but facilitate storing and use given its small size. The function of Quick release saves your take-off preparation time to the greatest. Inside the booster are two 18650@2500 mAh rechargeable lithium batteries, which can be used continuously for over 300 minutes each time.

Can I buy a pre-modified RC-N1 with setup for Duo II? I have it with adapters for Autel, but want ab RC-N1 already converted.

Biggest question is that rc pro has 4 antennas but alientech is only for external antennas, whats the magick as we need to power up for 4 antennas

Have you try to mod DJI RC controller? I think the RC doesn't have enough space for Duo ii . According to their specs, RC is 1.5cm narrower than RC Pro. I would love to be proven wrong

I'd never imagine that "I" ( who always had 2 " left " hands to fix anything serious) would be able to modify my RC Pro controller. Firstly, I've ordered extra connections with cables. It took me about 1 h to watch ( 2 times ) your video before I've made the final decision to take risk to do potentially " destroy " my new RC PRO ( I've got Mavic 3 Pro ). Step by step, I was following your instructions, checking 2-3 times every movement & and after 1.5 h I DID IT !! My Alientech booster " clicked " to the new possicion . Booster It's working amazingly. Thank you so much. This video is just FANTASTIC.

I have the Alientech Duo II installed on my Mavic 2 Pro, makes a massive difference in range, didn't want to risk modifying my Mavic 3 RC pro though as I have modded it to FCC pwr output, would love to see a range test after your mod, would be the first on UA-cam to show this mod.

I would recommend a much wider, thinner blade to separate the case shells than that little screwdriver. A putty knife would seem to be much less likely to scratch up your case and would apply pressure along a much wider area.
That being said, the RC Pro is a $1,000 device and I know for sure I don't want to go pulling internal assemblies apart nor making any modifications that can't be easily reverted back to stock condition without pulling the entire device all over again, especially when the device I'm attaching to it is going to cost another $1,000 or so to the total cost.

Alientech doesn’t have any instructional videos on a DJI RC Mini 3 Pro install. At least, none I could find. Regardless, I followed other DJI RC controller disassembly UA-cam’s to see what I was fighting and success. Easier than this video. Once the two half’s are separated, there is no fan to remove, just heat sinks. The coax are longer then needed, so mind the reassembly. Oh, and(no included instructions) when you’ve drilled holes for the external mounting: the cables pass through the RC via two hollow screws that secure the mount to the RC, along with the two screws in the ‘sticks holder’ rubber/area(under the RC) you’ve removed to open the RC. The hollow screws hold the weight of the DUO ll. No screws, floppy booster. My DJI RC warranty was voided the moment i decided to buy the booster, so super glue fixed it. I fly FCC and twice the straight line range is a given. The big improvement is flying in areas (high foliage/terrain) limited before. Nothing is perfect, but this is nice.

Obstacles can cause severe attenuation of the signal. Yes, it can be used for cr- N1 controller.

The difference isn’t going to be much in standard urban areas, because gain is key, amplification is secondary but important in saturated environments, you would get more range with gain than wattage, double the gain exceeds 4 times the power, also note that when you amplify the signal you also amplify the noise signals as in you pick up every wifi signal in the direction your pointing. I use the alientech because the gain is so good and testing with my expensive antenna tester the swr etc is spot on, (I’m a retired electronics engineer) also the duo ii is amplified, but you get what you pay for, yes I get full strength at 4km in the city and rf signal interference messages on my remote but that’s in the city where there are literally hundreds of wifi signals from everywhere, thousands of apartment units between where I stand and where I have flown, out in the country side I have not been able to fly my Mavic 3 far enough to go out of range before my battery totally drains, in other words installing alientech duo ii will easily exceed the drones flight distance capabilities. It’s crazy powerful. I had my girlfriend drive down a very long road while I was on a hill and I kept flying straight until the battery was depleted, still had full strength all the way, she picked up the drone when it was forced landed from depleted battery and came back, although alientech is very expensive I was thinking at that point these antennas are worth every dollar. You now can fly without fear of loosing signal, I would say stock antennas are 3db not 4db and alientech are in the area of 10+ db gain. For legal reasons I can not show my videos because 18 x 20 km is outside the visual line of sight and well we simply can’t do that without approvals and a ton of paperwork and submissions which will be rejected here.
