Look at this old stupid azz man dissing a 12 year old who is twice as creative as this man will ever be. I bet your a lonely old sad man smh 🗣️✌️
Awesome… Even the dog is huge..🤣 Is that a mastiff.. beautiful dog…..I am definitely going to rebuild mine to electric…
yeah she's a mastiff, (I am definitely going to rebuild mine to electric) nice !!
👍👍 Thanks for putting the info on the parts used in the video. Really helpful.. Good simple conversion.
This gets my jaggon hard
Oh yeah!!!!!
Cool
You have the sexiest damn voice I've ever heard. Can we get a pic to go along with the voice please? Well done, sir!
yes sir you sure can please send me a prepaid envelope and ill send you a signed photo ;n)
You need to rig up some battery powered nail trimmers!
yeah, what a cokehead
Hi can I use part of your video to my compilation homemade inventions ?
yeah that's cool
@@chuckgreen355 Thank You
Jimmy Bone said this is more short bus than anything he's ever seen.
How long do the batteries last?
Thinking of doing this to my zero turn
Do you have the same power output? I understand electric motors are much higher in torque. What hp did you start with and do you feel like you have more or less power or cutting ability?
So dope, nice work man.
Are you running separate motors on the cutting deck ?
Just one motor belt drive to the mowing deck
Nice conversion I like that.
How long can you mow with this setup? I'd love to do a project like this but never messed with anything likr this. Looks intimidating!
Jim The Human run time around 45 mins on a flat yard
Coolest thing I've ever seen! Nice craftsmanship!
Would love to get more information on how you made the tracker step by step
Jon P the sensor and controller setup? Or the whole thing ?
Nice build mate
Very neat conversion I made one using 3 separate small motors about 17 yrs ago, still using it daily almost no problems or maintenance, change lead acid deep cycle batteries about every 7-8yrs, cut 2 acres on 50cent charge, tremendous pulling traction pull 2000lb trailer with ease, also push a plow blade for soil and snow, see my video electrictractor.net
What all is included in your Conversion kit?
@@N2Otorious KIT CONTENTS The kit contains:- Plans, wiring diagrams, instructions, numbered photos and most of the difficult to get parts such as:- electric transaxle with motor and electric brake, 2 cutter motors with mounting flange, electronic motor controller, control relays, digital amp/volt meter, circuit breakers, and other parts. some small metal brackets may have to be made depending on your tractor model, a few short lengths of wire, 2 push mower universal blade adaptors, batteries and charger not included, every DIY conversion is different and some people have some common parts lying around the garage, If I included every easy to get part in the kit the kit price would be much higher, Banggood.com sell a smart 24v battery charger $29.99 , some used wheel chair battery chargers are available on Ebay cheap or used truck battery chargers can be used, The golf cart batteries are available everywhere at the same price I would pay and the shipping costs you would pay would make them more expensive than you buying them locally, you can get good used golf cart batteries for about $30 ea if you wish from golf cart repair shops if your lawn is not too large, if you have less than 1 acre grass you could use 2 x 12v deep cycle batteries instead of the 4 x 6v golfcart batteries, ElectricLawnTractor.com
Did anyone else notice that every thing in this video is backwards
TheWolverine0657 yeah lol I recorded it upside down and had to flip it after the fact 😂
I just ran across this but yeah. I was wondering why the discharge was on the left.
+chuck green I would love some details of parts you used, also after using the tractor for a while did you have the power you wanted or would you go bigger next time? Great job man!
Excellent job. Was the fan really necessary or just a little over-engineering?
Mike Stanfill probably a little over engineered lol
Extra cooling purposes lol
With all the Parts + Labor + Time + Coffee.... Might as well stick with Gas or even Propane! OMG, the Motor alone is like $600.00+ :(((
Jordan Bronson right this is not the cheap and or ez way to go , but if you like tinkering with things (as I do) this can be a fun project
+chuck green - You did a GREAT JOB with the " Neatness / Design " and I can see you put in a lot of time for sure. But nah.... I don't think I ill be converting mine anytime soon, LOL. Although I am thinking converting to " Propane " due to Cost + Labor + Time, etc.... I am only looking at converting because of the " Exhaust Gases ". I hate the smell of the Gas Fumes.... That is why it leads me to your video.
Jordan Bronson propane very nice 👍🏼 I'll check that out for sure
+chuck green - I have been watching a Video from this guy, link below. I also read on the " LOW PRESSURE REGULATOR 039-122 " as well. Surprisingly, it's able to supply the Gas / Propane to 50HP Engine without a problem. So I might be getting one for my Lawn Mower Conversion. Here is the detailed Video of it.... He used it in a Generator: ua-cam.com/video/nO839Sayci0/v-deo.html
+chuck green - Here is the Link for the Regulator that I will buy: www.ebay.com/itm/170975776405
Lol yes I want one

Any chance you could send a link to the electric motor used to move the lawnmower? I'm looking to do a project but need a powerful motor lol
crazy Tim's inventions www.amazon.com/Motenergy-ME1004-Brush-Type-Permanent-Magnet/dp/B0083BDNJS
chuck green thank you very much!
crazy Tim's inventions any time crazy Tim !!!! Good luck with your project 👍🏼
Nice conversion. It might be expensive at first but I think in the long run it will be a lot cheaper to run and maintain. Looking forward to the next video.
*This little mower is awesome.>>>**t.co/3MgR6YCaH9** Worth twice what it cost. Powerful and quiet if you use around animals*
YOU ALTO MARKET THIS
Nice looking conversion! Yeah, switch over to lithium. I'm using a pair of 48V modules from a Chevy Volt. They give me about 3.6kWh of usable energy. Mowing I get about an hour run time and they all fit under the hood. I need to get a video uploaded. Anyway, nice job...very clean!
enzorover b That's cool. How long to charge?
As with any electric vehicle, it all depends. I have a 25amp charger. 25amps at 48V 1.2kWh, so depending on how long I ran it, anywhere from 5 minutes to 3-4hr. I also have a 6amp charger which is 3x slower. So now that you've done a mower, you need to move on to a car or truck conversion!!
I'd really like to see a video about your setup enzorover b
Kind of grainy video but I think you get the idea. ua-cam.com/video/ZCf3ZkGDOTQ/v-deo.html
Awesome project Chuck. Thank you for sharing. Electric lawn mowers is going to be a HUGE market once the general public catches on. When your done tweaking your design, please make more video's. Please show the drive train how the motor direct replaces the engine. I suggest throttling down that fan, it's too loud.
thanks!!!!ill make some more videos soon
Dann right! 😎
What about noise? Is it louder than the old gas engine you replaced? Sounds loud on the video.
Once u engage the blade I would say it's about the same
Great video. Thanks
Nice job! Packs are huge! I am looking to do the same on my old lawn tractor: motor's leaking oil and pretty much beaten up... how did you measure hp needed on the motor (you take the gas engine hp and take same?) ? how much it ends up costing (controller, motor, battery, etc.) ?
the hp of the electric motor is not a good translation( from gas to electric) , its going to be much less then the gas engine, the one i got the me1004 works out to have only 12 hp ,the gas engine had 24 hp. but the me1004 can put out 218 lb.ft of torque at 3100 rpms ,which is alot more then the gas motor. so look for torque and rpm.
cost was around 600 for motor and controller (new) i got the bats for free from a salvage yard( they had no idea what they had) so i jumped on um lol, all the other stuff cables , ends, 200-300 bucks , its not going to be the cheap ,i did it just because i like building stuff :o)
Ever thought of supplying a "Needed to complete" list for people to try their own conversions? Like battery model number, relay model, controller. I saw you stated the ME1004 Motor
+SelfBP - With all the Parts + Labor + Time + Coffee.... Might as well stick with Gas or even Propane! OMG, the Motor alone is like $600.00+ :(((
Jordan Bronson being green is not always about being cheap lol. Calculations have already been done on how much money you save in the long run with an electric tractor, not to mention how much less you pollute our air. When my 1966 allis chalmer garden tractor motor dies she will be revived with electric:).
+Ken Rimmer - Well I am poor, I only got a good Brain and big pockets! LOL. You sure you done some " Calculations " or was it done inside your head??? You know they got some " Battery Calculators " at the Dollar Store for $1.00. LMFAO 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Jordan Bronson took me a while to find but this guy sells plans for conversions and this page has a simple break down in yearly maintenance costs. electric vs. gas www.electrictractor.net/kits-page.html.. anyhow, won't be long before the electric tractor market takes off since Mahindra, John Deere and Kubota are already in the works:)
Nice job, very neat and clean
good job nice setup
