This is the most recorded and covered song in history. This was the debut, the original. The definition of classic. Perfection is correct.

The Music Industry has become so commercialized they control what the artists put out, they stop creativity. I am 53 and when I was younger the Radio would play so many different songs that you wouldn't hear a repeat for hours, unlike today where you hear the same songs played on a loop every hour.

There is no other voice like Diamanda Galas. This is an extremely “tame” performance relatively speaking. When asked what category her music should be filed under she has replied, “My name is Diamanda Galas, that should be enough.” And, uniquely, in her case it is. This may be the only true artist of our time that will, eventually, be recognized for what she is an what she the legacy she has contributed. Diamanda isn’t simply listened to. She is experienced.

Great comments. Love Pink Floyd and Metallica, but they didn't/don't offer the mix of constant "energy," talent and synchronicity that this performance did, this it "IS" the greatest Live performance of all Rock bands.

Originally they were known as Chicago Transit Authority and later shortened their name to simply Chicago. As a testament to the band's longevity Chicago is currently touring my State of Minnesota. You are finally back reacting again. My notifications were silent for many days and months. Hope you'll keep doing music reactions as your intelligent manner of breaking down a reaction is usually right on! THANK YOU! From your Subsciber in the State of Minnesota U.S.A.

Have you ever heard of the American rock band called, Ambrosia? You would like them. They started in 1970. Still performing today. How Much I Feel , Biggest Part of Me and You’re The Only Woman, are 3 great songs to start with if you want to check out a new and very talented group.

  • @M00159

Could you please react to their song, 25 or 6 to 4 next? Awesome guitar solo. You know, there is a Chicago tribute band based in Moscow that’s called, Leonid and Friends. They started as a UA-cam band and occasionally tour as well. They play all of Chicago’s songs and sound like Chicago even more than Chicago! They also do songs from the group, Blood Sweat and Tears. Another great band you would love. Their song, I Love You More Than You’ll Ever Know is an incredible song and one you definitely should react to. Leonid and Friends has done an incredible cover to this song. I hope you take a deeper dive in to Chicago and also Leonid and Friends as well as Blood Sweat and Tears. You won’t be disappointed. Chicago was massively popular in the U.S. and still is. They formed in 1967 in Chicago, Illinois and still perform today.

Thank you for not interrupting. It's nice to see the younger generation's appreciation for what music is supposed to sound like. No auto tune or pitch correction. Just three beautiful voices in pure harmony.

Thank you for honoring my request! I so much appreciate it! Yes, the next Chicago song you should react to is called, 25 or 6 to 4. I should have recommended this song first. It has an unbelievable guitar solo performed by Terry Kath. When Jimi Hendrix was asked who was his favorite guitarist, he said, Terry Kath. It’s worth watching the live performance video of this song, 25 or 6 to 4, just for the guitar solo. The song itself refers to 25 or 6 minutes to 4am. The band stayed up all night trying to find words for a song. They had a mental block and were struggling. Needless to say, it became a song. Chicago was HUGELY popular in the 70’s. They formed in 1967 and are still performing today. They are from Chicago, Illinois. I hope you check out 25 or 6 to 4. Great song.

Go dig up their 1969 debut album when they were known as The Chicago Transit Authority (which is what album "Beginnings" was on) and play these two tracks: "Introduction" and "Poem 58". Guitar player Terry Kath wrote "Introduction" and sang lead vocals. He was called "The White Ray Charles" by his bandmates. Soulful baritone voice! "Poem 58" is nine minutes of PURE FUNK led by Terry Kath on guitar, Danny Seraphine on drums, and Peter Cetera on bass. Kath's guitar will have you needing an ice pack for your jaw after you pick it up from the floor! ua-cam.com/video/j8aJiLUaWGI/v-deo.html When they were "The Chicago Transit Authority", they were the house band at the Whisky a Go Go in LA. One night between sets, Jimi Hendrix, who was in the audience, went to their dressing room after catching their first set. He walked up to their sax player Walt Parazaider and said, "You guys have a horn section that sounds like one set of lungs and a guitar player that's better than me! You wanna go on the road?" They said "YEAH!". And that's how they became Hendrix's opening act on a national arena tour.

The lyrics are so good. "The one you love has a heart of stone." Oooo... tough. He missed so many opportunities to connect deeply, then when he is ready to fall in love, it is not reciprocated. Sad.❤ Very nice reaction. Their songs lift me up too!!❤❤❤

If you are going to listen to everyone else sing Over the Rainbow, listen to the woman who introduced the song in 1939's The Wizard of Oz. But listen to this version, which is Judy singing it in a black and white TV special from the 1950s. She is dressed in her tramp costume from the song she has just performed. She walks to the edge of the stage and sits alone in the spotlight to sing Over the Rainbow. The raw pain in her voice is gut-wrenching. This is the Judy formed by thirty years of abuse, neglect, overwork and misunderstanding; of people taking advantage of her gifts, getting her addicted to pills so she could work harder, and then leaving her in the lurch. This is the antithesis of the wide-eyed, hopeful, innocent Judy who first sang this song for the world in 1939. This is the reality of heartbreak. ua-cam.com/video/DsyfqLi82B0/v-deo.html&pp=ygUmanVkeSBnYXJsYW5kIG92ZXIgdGhlIHJhaW5ib3cgMTk1MHMgdHY%3D

If you can do just one song for me… just this one song… I would be so happy… The song is called, I Love You More Than You’ll Ever Know. And the band who sings it is called, Blood, Sweat and Tears. This song is so amazing. The composition in this song is not seen in songs written today. The musical variety, composition, tempo changes, the emotion, the mood. I can’t describe it enough to give it proper justice. You just have to listen to it to understand my feelings about this song. Please react to it. Thank you.
