I always feel he took losing apollo worse than micky as micky was old and it was his time, apollo was taken to almost kill the spirit and arrogance of America during the Cold War. Rocky 4 was the last great rocky movie as it had such real-life issues surrounding it.

All-time great Rocky movie. One of the very best inspirational movies ever put to film in history!

I remember my pops passing away on March 15, 2020. He had been beaten up a year before with intent to be killed, and he survived but was in a COMA. He passed away in 2020, after respiratory problems, covid had just started to get out there, and i remember the convalescent home told me he passed away twice but they brought him back with cpr, and was later able to be taken to the hospital, where he was placed on the ventilator and I had to make the decision to take him off or leave him. One of the hardest decisions ever, and never would I wish it on an enemy. As we took him off, and his body was slowing down I was bedside and talking to him, and i started to think of the memories with him, when we’d watch Rocky, how we put on the gloves and he let me beat him up, so I can think I was Rocky, my dad didn’t have much, and that’s what was sweeter that we’d rent these dvds and watch the series for hours, but it was the quality time that I enjoyed more. I’d think about the challenges we faced And how when he was in the convalescent home I’d do stretches with him, and take him outside to see the sun, and have him know we weren’t done fighting, but little did I know he was prepping me to be a fighter still, and get ready for what this world has to offer. I remember him passing, with his hands balled up as if he was still fighting, I put a towel over his eyes kissed him on the forehead , and left the hospital by myself in my car and I was crying uncontrollably, and I don’t know how I drove home, but i couldn’t help but play this song “No easy way out”. I just knew the WAR had just begun, and I had just went through hell. Whenever I work out I always think he’s with me, and when I hear this song, I don’t think of Rocky and Apollo I think of Me and My pops. RIP POPS. If anyone going through it, PUSH MAN, JUST FUCKEN PUSH.
