THANKS for checking out my little woodworking channel. I started this just as a way to show people who always asked how did you do that? or how was that done? I also wanted to be able to film projects of build for people so that they would be able to show thier friend and family and say "check out this video of my bench being made or my flag or this pen" I also never expected to reach 300 subscribers let alone the 800 that i just hit on March 24th.
Edit: As of April 15 I am at 1000 subs ( I think I will keep a running track here.. for now..)
If you actually read this cudos to you I would of lost interest by the second line
~Cheers

Besides the horrible screeching noise, this person knows NOTHING about woodworking.. construction lumber will NOT hold a glue EVER this MESS is a complete WASTE of time and effort and has already fallen apart...
Well you obviously know nothing about woodworking. Not 1 of the 70plus flags that I have made and shipped all over the world has fallen apart. And the screeching is horrible but thanks for watching and adding to my Google adsence.
Very impressive!!!!! Great work!!🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Thanks they have definitely improved over the years from this first attempt
A glass top overlayed and you have the top of a great table
I have heard that alot
@seansrusticdesigns8640 Thanks, I think it would be awesome. I might build one myself. Thanks for the plans.
Lot of wasted time. Rough cut on band saw first.
100% disagree. There are multiple methods to create a waving flag. To make a more natural complex flowing flag the bandsaw method is not the route to take. It is quicker but will only give you uniform repeating pattern
Where did you get the branding iron made?
I have a buddy with cnc equipment who did it for me
@@seansrusticdesigns8640 what would he charge me to make one?
One of the 1st flags I made I was so happy with it then noticed I had 2 red stripes together. Duh!
Yeah my first video flag was messed up too. One stripe to many had blue on it.
Sound sucks
I want the soundtrack.
It's free on spotify

Perfect addition to a good bon fire
Ha, you're a tool
beautiful work!
Thanks
Wow
Awesome info. I never see power carvers using a grinder dust shroud. Does it make sense as a way to vac up sawdust?
Possibly but I have tried using shrouds and they just get in the way and restrict your view on what your carving
How long are the strips? I don’t see where you ever give that info. I guess 18” if you go y th flag calculator dimensions but not sure
Yes based off a 3/4" stripe. The overall length would be 18
Amazing work 👌🏽😍🔥
Hi I have this semi translucent black epoxy on a table I made I need starbond to fill tiny cracks in the epoxy would you recommend starbond clear or black?
It would be hard to say without a test.
What is the smaii detail sander you use ?
2" sanding attachment for a drill. Found on amazon and lowes sell them too
@seansrusticdesigns8640 thank you, stay cool !!!!
Thats bad azz i want that
The best Flag Ever😊
What is the printer you used to make the stars? Trying to find something that can make larger stencils thank you.
Look up US Cutter. This is a 34" MH series.
Good.wocrk
Thank you.
Did this thing take a year to build??
torch burn before staining.
I do that too. If I am staining
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for a great video. Your pen boxes look magnificent. You are very creative.
Thanks
I've seen quicker and easier ways to make a wavy flag but none quite as awesome. Thanks to the time lapse the videos I like to watch I can do so without skipping a good bit. Ok, so I skipped through a few parts of yours like I do all of them. The parts with the endless carving and sanding and glue ups. I've watched enough to know what's going on. Beautiful work.
In order to do this you need to be able to see in your mind what it’s gonna look like before. Carving does take some skills. Being a wood worker this is harder than it looks.
Love it !! Great content... looks amazing !!!
Are you still making these or to much work? Watched a guy Max F that does these, not nearly as good as yours, but he back cuts the highs and low, which I thought looked awesome. What are you selling these for in your area, because I want to get into this..... Thinking at least $200.....
I am, but they are by special order only. I have done back cut also it really depends on the buyer. Currently I am getting 575.00 framed, with aluminum cleats ready to hang with one off name badges and S/N
Thanks for the video. I'm new to using a die grinder. I'll probably start with the disk sander, but am thinking about the kutzall disks and dishes as well. Great information.
Thank you
Not wasting my time where the content creator is either unwilling or unable to speak and articulate their process.
Seems like a waste of time by writing all this instead of just... not watching.
How to purchase?
Look me up on FB and shoot me a message
From start to finish how many hours does it take?
This one was exceptionally long because of the hand painting. I probably had 6 hours into just that
Beautiful piece of art!🇺🇸
Thanks
BAD ASS WOOD WORK!! AND BAD ASS FLAG!!
Great build, BAD AUDIO
That looks amazing. I'm making one now!!! Thanks!
Craziest thing we managed to do on a wooden wavy flag was grab a can of red spray paint that was next to a can of clear, and put a red swath right down the middle. Repaired after resanding and repainting.
I have done that with white that I accidentally put the wrong color cap back on
Do you ever have imperfections underneath the paint when engraving? I am running into that a lot lately! Where do you get yours from? It seems the harbor freight ones do it most from my experience which isn’t as many as I’m sure you have done!! Help!
I only use harbor freight can and don't have any issues
Has anyone made the frame have the same contour as the waves in the flag, but just a 1/2 or 1/4 inch proud?
Such a beauty! Thanks for sharing and God bless y'all!
Beautiful work. Thanks for sharing
Absolutely great video! And I for one dig the music 👍
A work of art that had to be done by an artist. The star creation was outside the box!! I don't think that wavy flags flap inside a frame.🤔
Where did you get the stars from please?
I make and sell them. 25.00 for a set of 2. Plus the ride
Do you think this method is quicker and/or easier than glueing, then carving, sanding and masking for stain? Or some other advantage? Getting ideas on trying to make my own. Thanks for the video. Cheers!
For me.. it gives superior crisp paint lines. It's "challenging" to keep the stripes width consistant when taping and painting plus contending with paint bleed
Love the handy work, Austin will absolutely love it.
Thank you. It was a fun build
