Install of a dual-snorkel air cleaner similar to those fitted on the 1970-1972 Z28 Chevrolet Camaro. This is a part I'm very pleased with and the quality was extremely high. Jegs Part Number: 106-W-460A

1976 Chevrolet Camaro: New Exhaust Gaskets
Переглядів 2124 роки тому
The Camaro is already loud, but some of the volume was down to leaking exhaust gaskets, so in this video, I change the burnt cracked ones for some nice new metal ones. So now the exhaust seals properly, and the car is really loud, instead of really really loud. Part Number: Walton Motorsport Fabrication Ltd [1463] Vibrant Performance 3-Bolt High-Temperature Exhaust

nice👍
Jon please tell me the mufflers model that you used for this wonderful sound 👍🏻👍🏻
Gdzie antena?
Great video kid! 👍
I got news for you. That is a 1977 bumper my first brand new car was a 1976 Camaro the last year. The chrome bumper was 1977 and just for that one year they put vertical bump guards on the 77 so either the car is a 77 or 76 but somebody changed the bumper Because that belongs on the 77 and the grill colors are correct they were not painted they had chrome beasel
engine sounds lovely and smooth!
Thank You...Keep Up The Great Work 💯👍💯👍💯👍🏁🏁🏁🏁💪
Most of the people don’t know the quality and reliability of this car
Like
What is the purpose of the letters/numbers on the rear end of the tractor? it’s almost like a license plate here in the US for our cars.
It is a license plate correct for its age they were typically made of aluminium painted black with brushed aluminium letters this looks like it may be a sticker though 👍👍
Thank you thank you this is exactly the video I needed
Well done. Very informative for us x350 lovers.
Nice car I want one. These are still getting raced😡
Good luck fella.
Amazing video! Do you still have the car? If so, please make more videos about its repair and maintenance! Cheers
Good video and helpful thanks!
How hard is that ground
Had to skip this. Just get to the subject
No fuckin wonder my 86 c10 barelly runs until the engines right warmed up, thanks!
My father had a '77 Impala with the Rochester 2GC (2-barrel version) on a 305 (EDIT: I originally mentioned E2SE, but those were for smaller vehicles). I remember even as a little kid him and his uncles adjusting the carb constantly in the summer of '89. We had the car from late August of '88 to June of '90. Great memories!
Thank you very much this video definitely helped me with my build I have a 76 Camaro as well bought it as a roller. I ran into the same issue as far as having to drill the holes for the crossmember relocation. Would you happen to have the length of your drive shaft It would help tons🙏🏻
Type lt?
Absolute painful watch.
Fairly helpful I appreciate it I've been scratching my head at my car because it's not right
Sounds great! Does it have the 305 small block or the 350? Some people swap the engine and I cant figure.
A car is like a woman if you don't put miles on it somebody else will
Nice🤤
Great video thank you very much that’s been the problem with my 85 Chevy pick up for years and years I’ve had to pump it and start it and pump it and start it and pump it and start it until it finally starts it always starts but you have to make it run in the beginning I’m going out now and check that but I bet you a dollar that canister is not working and it’s 35 years old so there’s probably a rotted piece of hose here and there thank you very much❤️🇺🇸❤️🇨🇦❤️
Sounds like the gasket is leaking.
Exlent job body.. real active demonstration
Great video, lovely tractor, any more videos of her.
Great video …. 😂😂 so I laugh because I just checked my vacuum line it was disconnected 🤦🏻
Where was this video two weeks ago darn it
Didn’t expect the accent. Good to see I’m not the only young guy working on one of these. I’ve got a qjet that suffered a choke delete for circle track racing needed to see how everything was supposed to be so I could get a choke on. Looks like I’ve got all the bits I need in the parts pile. Thanks brotha!
For me this is sound of haven 😍
It's pronounced carburetor, not carburetor.
It's leviosa, not levi-o-sah
Looks like you’re missing the front vacuum break (choke pull-off) which is where your adjustment for cold starts are made
There were different types of quadrajet. Some used two vacum breaks (typiucally earlier carbs), one at the back for the secondaries and one at the front for the choke pull off. Later carbs tended to have just the one vacuum break but it used a complicated linkage so it operated both the choke pull off and the secondary air door operation. hope this helps.
Ty grate work
I really enjoy your Camaro videos. I used to have a beautiful orange 77 type LT that I never should have let go! I still miss that car every day! We do stupid things when we are younger though I guess.
Wow. Excellent video. I thank you so much for this! I was wondering, even after you made your adjustments, do you still have to give it a pump of gas before cranking?
Hi , 79 Trans Am with Rochester stalls at stop signs and red lights. Is there easy way to raise RPMs just a drop?
Did you ever figure it out? It’s my first time owning a 350 sbc and I’m having the same problem
Excelente video mate. After watching your explanation I knew where to start to look And it worked! Thanks again. Saved me about $110 quid.
Cool but what about when it dies slowly after those 30 seconds
Thank you for this detailed explanation of the carburetor Choke, which I followed in my old Nissan Jeep. After installing it, I did not feel any problem in operating the engine except that there is some smoke coming out with the exhaust before the engine warms up. Is this something normal? Greetings to you from Riyadh.
Nice video !
Stock cam?
Good on ya John!
Outstanding
Thanks for the vid. Hope it works on my Dodge Dakota. Merry XMiss and I hope you know this song (has to do with Cameros): ua-cam.com/video/1v3CzvQ9e_w/v-deo.html. Round the two minute mark.
