Переглядів 35 тис.4 роки тому
Old Fashioned Kettle Corn made in the comfort of your own home. If you share, your friends will love it! Where to purchase your new 6 quart Whirley Pop with 1 popping corn kit and instruction manual: www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00004SU35/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=15121&creative=330641&creativeASIN=B00004SU35&linkCode=as2&tag=bringhomethef-20&linkId=428002bf4883d39099cef6b78e405d97 Open Fire Popco...
Whirley Pop is the best popcorn maker. But the crank is there for a reason. ;)
I had no idea kernels who don't pop are called 'Old Maids', lol!
This is so interesting, thank you!
This popcorn was so perfectly amazing! Thank you! ❤
Jumbo and mushroom popcorn are they d same thing and where can I get d mushroom popcorn
I make this in a regular sauce pan and found that it is also great with a teaspoon of salt added to the sugar.
God use the handle to turn it!! Drive me nuts! Why even have this if you're not going to use it correctly!?!?
It's also important to use the product correctly people.. that is exactly why this was invented, so you don't have to shake and toss a pan full of hot oil..
Hi there! I commented on this video before, but that wanted to tell you, that for people with diabetes, you can make kettle corn, using a blended and combined mixture of monk fruit sweetener and allulose. Whatever you do, DO NOT use erythritol, as that whenever you use it in its man made or synthetic form, it can give you a cooling sensation in your mouth and I'm sure you wouldn't want that! Finally, one way or the other though, whether you use monkfruit/allulose blend or pure cane sugar, your oil to sugar ratio is just much better than the kettle corn recipe in the whirley pop owner's manual, as with their's, it's just not sweet enough. So, I like your recipe better!
I have listened three times now and don't know the measurment for the corn? The sugar and oil, yes but not the popcorn. ???????????
1/2 cup popcorn.
What is the point of having the whirly- pop if you're just going to shake the pot?
Such a sweet lady. (I bet she's a good witch.)
You don't know how to use your Whirley Pop. You don't hVevto shake it...the handle has a gadget to move the popcorn kernels.
This gal ain't running on all 8
Why in the world is she shaking the popper on a glass top stove when all you have to do is stir it .
my ignorant self thought blue corn would pop blue.🤣🤣sorry self! back to the drawing board.
Make more vids
lol. Buys Whirly-Pop, shakes pan. The crank is there for a reason.
No more popcorn videos? 😢
Good stuff!! I just bought a whirley pop already made some medium white, with "ballpark" seasoning and some butter and it was delish! My youngest wants me to make some sweet kettle corn! Looks like I'll be trying this tonight!
You don’t know how to use a whirley pop. You crank the handle to stir it, you don’t shake it on the burner like a regular pot.
You don't say how many kernels
thank you so much for the video! I bought a popper tonight at the thrift store and used your recipe! its increcible!
There are several recipes and instructions on the net, you tube for making kettle corn but, I believe yours is the best. Thank you.
You're correct about safety!! We love ours. Perfect popcorn.
Why the constant shaking of the pot? That's what the crank is for, right? No disrespect intended
You're right for sure! That is what the handle is for, but in a whirley pop smaller kernels can slide under the bottom spindles, it gives all kernels a guaranteed movement.
4:30 in the morning.. an I specifically looked up different types of popcorn..
Same omg
Also same. But midnight
Just made this for the myself and had to make another batch cause my kids ate all of it! Thank you for sharing.
Sad you only have two videos
Nice lady, nice vid, thanks!
I use lady finger or Jolly Time when it comes to kernels 😁
I have 2 whirley pops and absolutely love them keep posting more videos
THANK YOU!!! Great experience and results, everyone loved it!!!!
This is awesome. My wife recently purchased me a whirley pop and I just gave it a go for the first time making a basic olive oil, salt, and pepper popcorn. We love kettle corn from local festivals; I’m going to have to give this a try. Thanks!
This lady is a popcorn scientist and I love it! I hope she posts more videos someday
Great, informative video, thank you.
Tastes better than the store bought version. Love it 😊
Wow it sounds to hot?...
One recommendation I would make is to have 1/3 cup of kernels instead. That way there usually almost no unpopped kernels at the end
I need more content 🙂
Finally made it. It was really good...not too much sugar. But you should have posted what the measurements were.
She did at the beginning of the video, tf you watching?
Nailed it! Thanks for making me look like a genius.
Just curious as to why you shake the pot a lot. All of the other videos Ive seen on this product use the handle to crank and move the popcorn around. One reason Ive not made popcorn on our stove like yours is Ive been worried about scratching the top.
It’s probably to make sure any that gets pushed into the edge of the pot don’t get stuck and all kernels keep moving.
You can lift it a little to shake to not scratch anything.
I’m here wondering the same thing. The entire magic of the pot is the crank..
I dont have a whirly pop but used this as a guide to make sweet popcorn on the stove top for the first time. I've done it about 6-7 times now and only burnt it once, and not even too badly :) thank you!
Why use the popcorn popper if you're not going to follow the BASIC directions?
What are the BASIC directions?
@@codystephens5939 Pour 3 tablespoons of your oil or butter with a half a cup of popcorn and place over medium heat and use the crank stir until popping stops. Usually 2 1/2 to 3 minutes for the whole process.
I don’t get it why are you shaking it you bought the pot to have a starter inside to stir it stir
You shake it in the beginning before it pops to keep it moved around. The swirl mechanism really only works when it starts to pop. It works with the kernels but when you add the sugar it thickens which wont turn very well. If that all made sense
@@codystephens5939 ty
Get a clue gust stir it with crank da!
Doesn’t shaking the Whirley Pop scratch the glass cooktop?
Just lift it a little, shaking keeps the kernels from getting stuck along the inside edge.
Hey the Jambo popcorn is not available on amazon, are there any other sources?
Hi Tony, thank you for question. Do you live in Canada or USA?

We need more fair food videos lol. Just had kettle corn from a local auction while visiting California and I'm hooked. Thanks for the videos, they helped me decide to get mushroom corn and a whirlypop to imitate the kettle corn I just finished.
Thanks for the video. Great stuff
Worked perfectly thank you, finally one that works!!
Won't the sugar burn the whirlypop?
Thata why you shake it before it starts to pop.
