I really enjoyed that, thanks Fran! Some absolutely gorgeous shawls. I love Stephen West's shawls but I can't see myself wearing one of the ones that are a bit more involved. I really want to have a go at his Vertices Unite though. I might use the single skein I won from your Shawlathon to make the Pure Joy shawl if I can find something to go with it. It looks beautiful 😄

I am starting knitting again a shawl with thin cotton cone yarn in petrol blue colour. Then knitting corner to corner blanket in stylecraft batik swirl cake yarn in purple mist colour

You have made some incredible shawls! My favourites were probably Winter Lights and Shawlography. I gave away my Winter Lights and now I regret it so I'm going to have to knit another in similar colours as well as the pinkish one I was planning. I might borrow your colour scheme for a Shawlography as I'm quite taken with the neons (which is odd as I usually avoid neon). My favourite shawl that I've knit is Aurora Cabin with a beautiful kit from Birdstreet. It wasn't a kit specifically for Aurora Cabin, but I bought it as a five-skein set. I'll wear it instead of a cardigan in the spring and autumn if I'm popping to the postbox, but I'll wear it all bundled up round my neck in the winter to stay snuggly if I have to go into town. It often finds its way around my shoulders of an evening during the colder months. I also wear a lot of my lace shawls a lot of the time - they're so versatile when they're lace weight - I've been known to cover my shoulders with one if I have to go out in the hot sun, and also wear them round my neck as a scarf indoors in the winter. Your video made me so happy - and excited to knit even more shawls! I think I must have nearly a hundred now though 😂

Really enjoyed this trip through your amazing shawl collection!! Not a Stephen West design fan but some of the others really appealed to me. I made the Moonlit for your shawl along in a hand dyed cotton and I love it. You need to pick one of those you loved making and want to make again with minis or scraps and do another shawl along for us. 😁

Ahh slubby Tolsta looks great, I’m getting good wear out of mine and working on a Lento version which is kinda the same thing pattern wise.

You could use a contrast solid but compatible yarn to do either the rest of the body or a large block color block on part of the remaining body and finish with the second ball. The contrast yarn could be one of the colors of the speckles in the main yarn.

For the baby cardigan, I’d knit the sleeves with what you have left and then use another color to finish it off so you have a dual color fun knit. You probably have something in your stash to cover the remainder that is washable. 😊

I really enjoy your videos so much. I think you should get a little more yarn to use with that nice speckled yarn. The French Macaroon pattern looks cute & uses two colors. Good luck!

Love your Tolsta top, the colour really suits you. What about a short sleeve cardigan, would you have enough yarn for that ? The fuss free baby cardigan is a lovely knit and doesn’t take much yarn. You’ve inspired me to use up my jar of oddments, I’m going to start a corner to corner blanket.

Babies are so special. DO buy more yarn and hold double one new skein with one old . The pattern looks so cute. You can make matching hat or booties or mini blanket with any leftover yarn. Love all your finished projects and WIPS. LOVE your videos!❤

You can use other yarn for the button band, hem and cuffs, perhaps with sock yarn held double. The colour of the Tolsta is perfect for you.
