Fishing with raw potatoes led to a strange-looking carp...

At first, I tried using just raw potatoes to catch carp, but it didn't seem to work well in my fishing spot. So, I decided to mix half a boilie and half a raw potato for bait. The result? A strange-looking carp took the bait! Unfortunately, I wasn't able to land that one, but when I cast the same setup into a deeper part of the river, I managed to catch a carp. This entire experience was captured using an underwater camera and a drone. Don't miss it!

Everyone is going to be mad at me, but in a lot of states it's illegal to chum with corn. I'm not one to call the corn police lol, but just FYI everyone, the fish can't digest the corn. So if you do use corn and/or chum with it, you need to go easy. Fish can actually get digestive blocks from this. It was effective though, but took A LOT of time to actually get a bite.

Match the hatch seems to be the answer. The carp only eat the odd bait by accident or after they clear the most common bait. That is what I learned from your videos.

Great video as always. Try using small raw yellow potatoes, do not cook them.

Very good content Something you also maybe have to check is the length of the hooklink , the hooklink looks too long for me , when they swallow the hookbait it needs to get in contact with the lead quicker , I think a shorter hooklink will really have a great effect , along with a really sharp hook

Those first few carp should have gotten hooked. Make sure the hook is scary sharp. They really didn’t want to feed in that muddy spot.
Thank you for watching and commenting. I used a new hook, but it might have dulled after hitting some rocks on the riverbed. It's a shame. The carp in that muddy spot seemed more interested in the camera than the bait.
It Would Take The Whole Day To Catch One Fish. Way Too Much Chum. The Fish Would Eat All Of That And Ignore Your Bait.

If you scatter your corn a little wider, so it's a little bit thinner on the ground, and fish with corn for hook bait, as well, I think you'll see your hookup rate increase big time. Nr 8 medium wire hook, short hair, one pop-up foam kernel to neutralize hook weight, and one real kernel for the scent/ taste. If they're really skittish, a single kernel direct on a 10, no hair. But that opens you up to more bream and tench by-catch. Mixing in a handful of mealworms with the corn, and using those for hook bait can also work wonders on timid fish.

I caught my first Big Carp using corn this last week. Chumm'd the waters with sweet corn and creamed corn. Made myself a carp rig with a small hook tied to a pool noodle I cut into a ball. Than with a small leader tied that to the hook so it floats upside down. Put a couple corns on the hook and boom 15-20 pounder took it. I lost a bigger one last night. It works people. But you can't spook em and gotta wait for them to take off with the hook.

It's easy to say bottom bait on clear patches and possibly a colour match the freebies as they looked very spooked and cautious on the hook bait. Good to see how they react to it.

The water is clear I would use only a camo inline to match that ground and a size 10 shank hook .and go mono for hooklink

Внимание Внимание !!! Информация для тех кто говорит что карп не переваривает кукурузу и что если он ее много съест то тогда умрет Карп в естественной среде обитания кушае ракушку . Прежде чем ее съесть он перетирает ее глоточным зубом . Тоже самое происходит и с кукурузой . Когда обильно кормишь кукурузой то из пойманного карпа обильно вытекает дерьмо состоящее из переваренной кукурузы . Какает он этой кукурузой , кушает и какает 😂 Так что не говорите пожалуйста глупости .
