​@@MarkinTech isn't it supposed to help connect the rural and hard to reach areas to the world? But at that cost for setup, I think we're better off with network towers for the time being. But I'd very much like to have starlink at my home in village (coz we're not poor 😏) than a very unstable broadband connection which would require constant electricity for junctions and switches in between the ISP and my village. 5+km is a lot and there's power outage somewhere or the other everytime. Air Fibers are no good either as we don't even get stable 4G+ here how would Air Fiber get better speeds from the same tower. What if Starlink makes satellite antennas that replace cellphone towers and have bigger ranges. It'd be better imo but then why would anyone fund such a thing when cellphone towers already exist and are probably cheaper. Starlink would definitely be beneficial for the working people anywhere in India but the cost is what would keep it away from possible customers.
