Voice Commands & Chaining Tasks | 1X AI Update
#1X #humanoid #embodiedAI
You can now tell EVE to do multiple autonomous tasks back-to-back. Watch a team of EVEs work together to clean up our office.
In this video, you see the start of 1X's development of an advanced AI system that chains simple tasks into complex actions using voice commands, allowing seamless multi-robot control and remote operation.
By starting with single-task models, we ensure smooth transitions to more powerful unified models, ultimately aiming to automate high-level actions using AI.
This video does not contain teleoperation, computer graphics, cuts, video speedups, or scripted trajectory playback. It's all controlled via neural networks.

It looks like a different version of Backrooms!
If humans worked that slowly, the company would be out of business in a week.
In one fell swoop, a human could have swept those items into the box in 1/10th the time, which would be fine as long as it was in a 'red' state.
Yep, make a show of strippers next time or I won't buy it 😅
Robots muscles are super power
The bad thing is that what I see are people with costumes in a theater play, but if robots are capable of that, that's amazing 😅
What would be most interesting is to employ a e skateboard with a 1X bot instead of its existing wheels in that the e skateboard manufacturers claim speeds of 50 Mph and ranges of 20 miles.. e.g. Goggle TOP 10 MOST POWERFUL ELECTRIC SKATEBOARDS or a one wheel e.g. Goggle Onewheel GT vs. Onewheel Pint X | Which Onewheel Should You Get?
BTW, I just made and uploaded a video to my UA-cam channel that goes into a bit more detail on how one might use 1X bots on these e wheels.
ich fänds ja auch cool wenn das autonohm passiert währe aber das video sagt was anderes: ua-cam.com/video/fG2bu6a0RtE/v-deo.htmlsi=j7qRtLo2EjqDrbVR
Eve 757 picks up the cup as asked, stands there, then is told to take it to the kitchen or else he/she would be standing there for eternity until the batteries died . . . Is it worth it for the amount of space they take up and for how slow they are? Couldn't we just take 5 minutes to clean up and get exercise? It wasn't that messy. 5 robots cost $85,000 to do a 5 minute task . . . I used to clean a whole house for 5 cents when I was 7 years old . . .
Whatever Eve can do, I can do faster . . . Just kidding . . . Eve might think faster . . .
0:35 Someone is getting revenge by making the AI drop a portal cube. That crazed AI has made me drop a lot of those cubes as well. 10/10 irony.
I wouldn't even be confident with human roller skating in a restaurant, let alone robots lol.
We are officially living in "The Sims".
And now, do it SLOWLY!
So S.T.A.F.F. bots are real now
All they need is regular maintenance and a charge They don't complain Don't cause drama Don't need smoke break Don't ask for a raise Don't call in sick Don't make mistakes
Extremely wretched, of course ... These robots move like disabled people with pain in the spine. The developers need to introduce the human body’s movements, although technologically this is not necessary. But people will be more familiar to people ..
Крайне убого, конечно... Эти роботы двигаются как люди-инвалиды с болями в позвоночнике. Надо разработчикам внедрять человеческие движения тела робота, хотя технологически возможно это и не нужно. Но людям так будет привычнее...
This technology still has a long way to go, by the looks of it.
Robot, clean the house please
Is this fully autonomous with no specific instructions beyond the voice command? I felt like the one in the boardroom waited for the person to ask for the cup to be picked up which, to me, likely means that it was programmed to go in there and wait for that moment.
Multimodal LLMs are still not good enough. The issue is not entirely due to insufficient compute but also data.
Please change the way they appear. The hooded jumpsuit and face ain't doing it but feels off putting. 😅
Sure the actions in this video of these things seems primitive, but remember, this is only the earliest stages. When these things have access to supercomputers to train them, expect to be amazed. The end to end neural network technology is working and is the primary building block to making general purpose robots real. The only hold up is computational power. Just wait till things like Tesla's Dojo supercomputer is fully online and training Optimus and companies like 1X have a massive boost in compute. Remember how drones and quadcopters weren't too impressive in the mid to late 2000's (mostly craft hastily put together by hobbyist that could barely fly), but they now resemble props from a science fiction film? Expect general purpose robots to follow pretty much the same trajectory. Probably in 2 years time, you will have something that's pretty much like the droids seen on Star Wars and just as capable.
Perfect, now I can chain 50 table clean ups and none of them get finished. Nice
Os robôs mal começaram a trabalhar e já estão de má vontade
IS THIS ROBOTS FROM FNAF SECURITY BREACH??💀💀💀
Whoever thought this would make a good video should be fired. At least program the AI to put “trash” in a bag and cloths on a counter or something. This video makes the robots appear useless and incompetent.
I do not think current robots can take away human jobs especially when humans can get the same work done much faster. Now there was a job where humans cannot work like in a nuclear reactor or a deadly virus it might be slightly useful but only in a teleop mode the human mind, agility and strength remain unparalleled.
Creepy as fuck. No thanks. I'll push my own chair in and get my own drinks. I don't need smiling robotic slaves to do it for me.
lucky you
@@okklidokkli I didn't mean it in an offensive way. I think you're taking my statement out of context because I am an able-bodied person. But any day that could change and I could lose the loss of my legs or arms or both. And of course having robots and A.I. would be a great thing to those who have lost their function in certain parts of their body. So, please, don't be so sensitive and turn my statement into something it's not. I'm extremely intelligent and I can read into exactly what your vague statement means. I'm also disabled mentally and I'm not neurotypical. But for me as an individual, I find this creepy, and I am 100% entitled to my own internal feelings. If you think I'm not, then you have fascist ideologies and I won't engage with that. That's why I love and live in a free democratic society, and why I don't bully or treat anyone differently. Don't take something someone says out of context and try to make your own narrative with vague statements and buzz words like "lucky you", because in truth, I've been very unlucky in life and be treated very unfairly because I'm not neurotypical.
Why you hate people?
All i want is a robot that can give me a happy ending and clean my house. Is that too much to ask 😢
There are people inside the robot suits.
Legend has it that a thousand years later, the tissue paper still valiantly covers the coffee stain, protecting the table from its dark secret.
😂
I am skeptic 😅
Hey openAI how do you spend $300 million replicating something that an office cleaner does for $12 an hour? Oh and by the way, fuck those jobs.
Why are you asking OpenAI???
The $300 million deal with openAI was just made this year, if I'm not mistaken. They have a ways to go before everything is in place to make this a new industry. Building a new supercomputer utilizing end-to-end neural networks to train these things is on the menu.
It almost doesn't need to be pointed out. A single human could have done all those tasks in less than half the time and done a much, much better job. And interacted with other humans. Which these creepy things don't seem to do.
Do you remember the Attari ... You know the stuff we use to play video game with... Do you see the actual level of the gaming console... Now try to look forward and not just at your feet and use a stuff named imagination... Luckily in the world there are people who look further and are not just criticizing with less argument than a poulp will have ...
Yeah, the technology is junk put out to raise meme capital. It's a solution in search of a problem and a poor solution at that. I know the peanut gallery will be cheering this nonsense for as long as it appears. It's junk entertainment. Anyone with an ounce of common sense can see that.
I'm sure the peanut gallery will keep cheering as long as the entertainment lasts. Also, I understand that there are a lot of people who hate human contact and are thrilled at the prospect, which won't be realized any time soon, of this creepy and dehumanized world. Unfortunate but it takes all kinds.
Been watching you for a year and whilst I just wanted this company around for the prototypes and to understand a different perspective or skillsets in building humanoid robots, I wonder with the progress that has been made over the last year if the company will falter or actually be able pull through with half of its deliverables and objectives propose. If this company ends up being acquired or merged with another competitor or it becomes a relative success and still able to stand on its own two feet for years down the road that's a win in my book. (better than a demonstrative ponzi scheme)
Their facial expressions look creepy. No one can be that happy all the time.
Yeah I really hate bots with these fake "emoting" displays as a face. Give me straight sensors and cameras. I want to see the bot's hardware.
😂😂😂😂😂😂
This is like the happy part at the start of an episode of Doctor Who
I am 100% against AI and robots. Evil
They always say robots coming soon but NEVER RIGHT NOW I NEEDS THE MAID IMMEDIATELY AND THE COOK!
That's the music I see the world burning. People realizing they got fired because they didn't see those robots coming.
Adding some sound will be amazing. (related song or voice over)
Who will pick up the rag?
nice, they will be ready in 20 years
Ok now I'm gonna tell you what it should do for me to buy it .For a woman this is a investment I can give to my daughters when they grow old so read with caution it better be able to cook basic meals, do laundry , spring clean the house everyday be able to sanitize clean toilet bathroom dust the walls , gardening ,a house keeper and run on some saught of battery even oil like a lawnmower so I can use it at anytime for efficiency it can be upgraded when new models come at anytime I'm willing to pay$8 000 to $10 000 a robot is not a depreciating asset .
Meh underwhelmed. Looks kind of slow and clumsy
Much faster and less clumsy than Tesla.
cringe, no one want to live in a world with robots lul funny how they invest everything in it, all hype now and soon they go bankrupt. Like wtf i can grab my bottle of water faster than those mofo, im not a lazy piece of sht who the fk gonna pay 40k for a robot to bring me fking water bottle to my meeting room, fking delusional as fk if u think u gonna make profit with this trash
You know there are many disabled people in the world, right?
