Dedicated to bringing old iron back from the dead and keeping it from the scrap yard. Working usually with a budget of $0, refurbishing and rebuilding more than replacing. Just a middle-aged farm kid addicted to doing it myself with crappy tools, limited time an resources. * DISCLAIMER* I AM NOT A CERTIFIED MECHANIC! I am an enthusiast who likes to work on his own stuff. Listen to my advice/ instruction at your own discretion and risk. I only work on my stuff and cars of friends for fun, never for $$$

The Triumph TR-6 Gets Push Button Start-Easy Installation
Thanks for the easy tutorial.
This is a great representation of the stuff they have there. My stepbrother and nephew and I visited a month or so ago and we were looking for a "sales" video to convince some other family to come along on another visit. Thank you.
It’s a lot of fun, amazing place!
This video is the reason I don't drink in my car and I don't allow anyone else, ESPECIALLY CHILDREN to drink in my car. It's slovenly. If we need to eat and drink we stop and get some fresh air and walk around a bit. It does everyone good. This car looks like a landfill inside. Eeeeew. Gross. .Who is surprised that if you drink in your car, drinks get spilled? Who is surprised spilled drinks spoil the interior? Duh.
Nice car
I have also tried spraying pure alcohol on my “start engine stop” button. I even poured a tiny amount. And it worked to unstick the button.
Can we get this in 2025 as a run not limited but just give us back nastalga Americana
Great 👍 car.
Now that's a nice truck
Beyond very nice 👍.
REALLY SWEET RIDE!😮
Love it, Dude your living the Dream, Enjoy Buddy...
Holy frijoles! Now THAT’S a truck! 🇺🇸👊
I like this truck. I got 56 1 ton with a flatbed. I got a GMC 8-foot bed I thought about putting on it
2016 F150 crew cab short bed 5.0 V8 6-speed trans. Toyo A/TIII tires. Snow chains ready to throw on. Posting here to say also: drive axle differential type makes a dramatic difference. Most of these later F150s are open differential drive axles, some have an "E-Locker" (which is deactivated at speeds above 20MPH). Open differential trucks have what is called an "E-Limited Slip" which uses the ABS (antilock braking) hardware + traction control software to ADD a little braking to any spinning drive tire, effectively becoming a limited-slip differential. Mechanically, however, it's just an open diff with some electronic traction control. If you want a real "traction" differential/performance differential, consider the installation of an EATON Detroit Truetrac helical gear-type limited slip. These are priced +/-$750 and then whatever the price of the install is. These are strictly mechanical units and they are a genius design. They work seamlessly, acting as an open diff until one wheel begins slipping. The Truetrac, though, is not a mechanically-locking differential. The Truetrac does work very well with the contemporary trucks' E-Limited Slip software, too. The Truetrac really shines in the snow! Cheers.
Glad I found this video before I taken apart the centre console. It Works!
What brand glass cleaner did you use
You didn’t pull out the slide pins and clean and grease them?!?
If I wasn't replacing the rotors couldn't I simply pry out the old pads and put in the new ones?
Personally i always replace or have the rotors turned as not to risk a shudder from warped rotors.
@@MissedAGear The way a person drives has a lot to do with that.
What size was the socket you used to take the spark plugs out?
I think it was a 9/16 or 14mm
Wow this worked beautifully. Thank you sooo much
Lovely
O.
Can these light beems be adjusted or do they just sit super low to the ground I just got some
You put a ceramic coating on top of wax? Ummmm.. the wrong way around my guy. Ceramic coatings are meant to be applied to bare clean paint. It’s likely not lasting very long with a layer of wax underneath.
Great vid I had about the same experience only I had 4 beers during the process did as you mentioned and watched for cops on my test drive though. Works good
Great video and I’m glad it had worked for other people !! Now quick question,, will the glass cleaner ruin electronics components under it??
I'm a hobby mechanic, not a pro but have done this multiple times on diffrent cars and since on this same vehicle ( my daughter keeps spilling stuff) everything still works.
Worked like a charm! I'll be keeping foaming glass cleaner around from now on. Thanks!
Anything that would not involve the typical American way: spending, spending, spending: foam, compressor, etc? As if we are in a booming economy, with plenty of jobs and money to throw out on something I will use once and barely ever again?
Foam cleaner is $5 at Walmart and go to a car wash like surf thru they have the air blower total will be around $16
Yes, the stance is perfect. Just the right amount of tilt to the front without looking jacked up in the back or so low in the front the wheels won't turn. Excellent.
Would be much better without the music
My new brakes and rotor are super squeaky
Brilliant!!
You can drive 4x2 truck just put some sand bags and some good tires that’s it people used to do it back then
My dad had a green Hornet, which was already ancient by the time I learned how to drive. But it was a fun car, and the girls loved it, lol.
Glad to help bring back that memory:)
You are the best. I did it on my acura mdx twices and its good as new.(mix drink all over my car)
Looks good!!
now to spend a few hours cleaning the rest of the interior, maybe even removing the breakfast bowl lol!
I spilled just a little soda cleaned immediately, 2 days later car won't even start
Dude show some enthusiasm
Which bulbs did you use?
I'm so pissed right now! My colleague spilled his milktea over the buttons on my 2 month old car
I didn't see him block the tires, to keep it from rolling. Also, a hard jack stand under the car in safest. Hang the removed caliper from a coat hanger wire hook. If it falls off that thing it hanging from now, you can break or damage the rubber brake line, and then yur screwed. If the line is damaged, and you don't see it, you'll know it, after you crash into the back of that brand new Mercedes, cause your brake fluid leaked out. I don't think braking hard after new pads are installed is good, because the heat build up can wreck the resins in the pads. Go easy on the brakes for a 100 miles, at least.
I used Jigaloo after taking the console out, worked much better
Hoping this works for my VW Jetta. Wasn't a clumsy coffee spill but I made the mistake of leaving an unopened dr. Pepper can on the passenger seat in 100°+ weather. A couple hours later, BOOM. Exploded all over my dash / ceiling. Learn from my mistake as well yall 😂
The same thing happened to me last month with a Pepsi 😂. Buttons work but are still very sticky and take a lot to push down. Hope this works for my Lexus.
@latashuawilliams7287 I used that foaming glass cleaner spray on my dash and used an air compressor after mashing all the buttons to dry it out. They all work much better now. HOWEVER. Just as a safety precaution I would disconnect your battery and obviously leave your car turned off when doing this. After I tried this trick, the display on my radio looked a little funky, but it went back to normal after a few hours, and at first the AC wouldn't work but same deal, just had to wait a little bit for it to dry completely. Try to save some hassle when you try this and give your interior plenty of time to dry before turning it back on P.S I also no longer have that Jetta. I sold it after getting a truck lol
Right! Shame on Mazda! I only spilled only a little of my flavored coffee... a "dollop" popped out of the sip-hole and now my console is stuck! Been trying WD-40 Contact Cleaner to no avail! I'll have to try the foaming glass cleaner. **UPDATE** Foaming glass cleaner worked like a charm!
I’m working on getting my shop completed this summer. I’ll be hitting you up on some vehicle project ideas
Ideas are my specialty:)
I spilled drinking water in the same area and I’m afraid the buttons and the automatic gears shift stops working, I need to move but I’m afraid to start the car
Hey I know this guy!
