I read different people's reactions to this song. What it makes people feel like. What kind of reality this song portrays. It's seems to affect people differently. For me, I imagine this song playing at a point when you are in the middle of something and too far in to quit, but so far away from being finished. It's a song of struggle and passion.

Anyone else listen to this when they feel down or motivated?

I don't even know what this pieces makes me feel. It certainly doesn't make me think of baseball or grinding out all the way to better days trusting the process. It's very strange.....there's a twinge of sadness in it........like something unreachable. Maybe an unreachable potential...potentiality...possibility....scenario, or dream. It's right here...but it will never really come to be....or it already happened but it is now stuck in the past.

1:47....Constanze didn't entirely 'vanish without a trace' as the movie claims. Traudl Junge was the last person to see her. She reported that after their departure from the bunker, they were waiting at a water supply area. Constanze was wearing a Wehrmacht jacket and went to look for some civilian clothes. The next time Junge saw her, she was being escorted by 2 Soviet soldiers towards a U-Bahn subway entrance. 'They just want to see my papers' she called out, according to Junge. It was after this encounter that she was never seen or heard from again.

It''s not the "original music" at all! ... The original score was composed by Sir William Walton but the studio executives didn't like it, so Ron Goodwin was engaged to write a replacement score. Laurence Olivier said that if Walton's music wasn't used, then he wanted his own name taken off the credits. A compromise was reached whereby a sequence entitled "Battle in the Air" that featured Walton's music was retained.
