Very helpful, thanks. The mounting plate removal from the mirror glass was not obvious to me until you showed it. Then, I was able to easily disassemble and reassemble my damaged mirror and get it all to work without replacing any parts.

This was great vid!!!! Finally someone who shows how that mirror clips function, so to remove the mirror glass, is basically that you just "lift it" and it pops out :)

What started out with me helping my girlfriends sons; ex girlfriend with a all wheel brake job, oil change and wiper replacement on her 2010 Suburban ended with me bumping the garage door jam and a cracked mirror. Thank you sweet Lou !!! some knucklehead hit my 2011 suburban LTZ. just bought mirror from dealer here in Houston and cost me $200. located exact mirror by my VIN # as mirror has auto dim side obstacle alert heated power etc. could not figure out ring removal. YOU made it easy, simply turn 4 catches with flahead screwdriver and pops out. Thank you. God bless you.

Great video. One question for you. When you unlocked those four clips to remove the round ring from mirror how did you reengage them after you put mirror in.

This is the best demonstration and conversation on how to do this. I cracked my mirror pulling it off for a repair, and could not figure out how it went back on. Thanks 4X4 lou!

Much more powerful than I expected and the battery lasts longer than I would have thought. We are doing a lot of clean up over the past two months due to recent storms and tornadoes, so this thing is getting a work out and has yet to disappoint! It is also less tiring for long sessions since there is less vibration than there would be with a gas engine and is lighter in weight. Another advantage is the easy start. This has become my go-to saw for all but the biggest trees that I am dealing with.*
