My air intake box has drain holes in the bottom.

@@AndrewCreech I don't think that is going to help with keeping the air filter dry at decent speeds.

The jb4 is a piggyback tune. So you don’t touch the ecu at all.

I went with that because I wanted a box around the filter, and I also wanted the upgraded turbo inlet.

I heard that they are going to flash your ecu first ,and only change it if necessary. Ideally they change it to a high pressure fuel pump .

@@AndrewCreech the flash changes limp mode parameters with respect to how lean / rich it lets you run without tripping limp mode, would still throw the code and require a replacement pump, just not cause a crash. I drive a 2022 Veloster N. Picked it up with 7 miles on it. I'm up to 20,400 now, in May I asked the dealer to check the fuel trims and all was within spec. Car has been bulletproof so far, so for now, so far so good Probably going to go with a 2025 Elantra N this coming spring.

@@AndrewCreech The HpFp on the car can, at or near WOT send too much fuel damaging the pump and probably also causes the issues with coils, injectors, and packs these cars have. The low pressure pump in the tank is fine, thankfully. I'm having my 2022 VN dealt with on Monday. The next weekend I'm driving the mount washington auto road so if there's an issue or power reduction, I'll know.

Sure, if we are just talking performance... afe stage 2 open open, afe inlet, ram air, upper and low engine mounts, transmission, mount,sparks plugs, jb4 and I also have oem tires and ps4 A/S tires. ( You can see everything that has been done to the car on the playlist section (Elantra N Build Series))

@subzero_n - not sure if the Jb4 is effected by this since it’s just a piggyback and not an ecu tune. - with the recall software update, ecu tune can’t run on the new software so the tuning companies have to come out with new patches.

Yes. There is definitely more torque in the lower gears and more power through the power band.

After I started to get more into cars I realized its only popular cause of the exhaust and has some power. It's a budget car and there's nothing wrong with that but what I said before is absolutely true as well. The community for this car is absolutely horrendous. And it's the truth not really an opinion
