No matter what anyone says, I’m always saying this is one of the greatest boss fights, due to its music having this feeling of finality, which is fitting as it is one of the last areas and boss fights before the end, and on top of that, the mechanics they introduce are new and interesting, to the point where you don’t know what might be next, as they could just swap your juice and hp, or just completely remove your juice, who knows. Admittedly the designs are a bit odd considering the context, however it’s not unfit I’d say, as odd as that may sound, as it’s something you wouldn’t expect, which is effectively the entire game, as you don’t expend stuff like waffle bunnies, Mr Jawsum, a whale at the end of a creepy path, stuff like that. On top of that, they have so much character even in the normal route, which is then expanded in so much in the Hikikomori route, which I didn’t expect, as I thought they were dead (and actually one of the only characters I missed, alongside Space Ex-BF). The game wants to keep you guessing, and this fight (and the characters) portray that perfectly. TL:DR I like the fight, and the characters (probably because the theme is breakcore…and I’m trans, which probably has some links, somewhere…)
