737 MAX vs NG | New System Safety Features
Переглядів 11 тис.4 роки тому
While the 737 MAX received a bad reputation due to the MCAS software design, The 737 MAX is not all about MCAS. The new passenger jet has introduced new system features to the 737 series which are designed to increase the flight safety. In this video, I am going to go through all of the major system updates and explain them one by one. If you what to know what EOS, TCMA, EDS or ELJA is give thi...

Переглядів 6 тис.4 роки тому
Follow our crew on a flight from London Stansted to Barcelona to find out what the pilots base their decisions on when deciding on how much fuel to uplift and when do they have to declare "Mayday Fuel". Today you will find out: What is Trip, Taxi, Contingency and Final Reserve Fuel When to declare fuel emergency - Mayday Fuel When do pilots take extra fuel? How much does it cost to take extra f...
Efficient Descent | What New Pilots Struggle With
Переглядів 24 тис.4 роки тому
Descent Planning and Energy Management are two areas which are difficult to master and take the longest for new pilots to learn. This video will help you understand how pilots save fuel with proper descent planning, what do pilots do when everything doesn’t go as planned and finally what is energy management and how we use it.
Pilots and Autopilots | Who is really in command these days?
Переглядів 4,6 тис.4 роки тому
What has changed in the aviation in the past 50 years? How and When do pilots use the autopilot? How does the system really work and can the autopilot completely replace the pilots? If you would like to know answers to some of these questions join our crew on their flight as they will be there to explain the autopilot concepts. I had a lot of fun making this video, even though it explains autop...
Aircraft Pressurization Explained! And what happens when we lose it?
Переглядів 123 тис.4 роки тому
Find out what is bleed air, how the air is conditioned and pressure controlled. What systems are there to warn the crew that something isn't right and what systems are in place when the pressure is lost. I will be putting out more videos like this every month, let me know which ones you would like me to explain?

Directing traffic in Endless ATC game to and from EHAM and EHRD. This ATC simulator is one of the best I have seen so far. I took it for a spin and tried to manage the busy skies above Amsterdam. Do you think I would have a shot at getting some sort of ATC job?:D
Constructing the 737 MAX PFD for The 737 Handbook
Переглядів 1,2 тис.4 роки тому
This is a timelapse of my workflow in Affinity Designer. I took a vector graphic from my previous projects and redesigned it for The 737 MAX PFD display. All of the graphic design in The 737 Handbook I created myself, this allows me to modify it for other diagrams, schematics and interactive simulations. What videos would you like to see next?
737 Minimum Speed Protection
Переглядів 11 тис.4 роки тому
In this video, you will see Autothrottle (A/T) Minimum Speed Protection in action. The A/T adds thrust in low-speed regime to "protect" the aircraft from stalling. It is important to note that this will create a pitch up moment and needs to be counteracted to avoid stalling.
Loss of Thrust on Both Engines 737
Переглядів 11 тис.4 роки тому
What happens when both engines fail? The crew actions memory items for Loss of Thrust on Both Engines and glides to the nearest airport. Here is the whole process captured on the video in the sim.

This is talent, pure and simple
Wow, Niel, that was beyond Amazing!!
Well done, Captain!
It saved fuel compared to a full go around
Is this professional skills? Ridiculous
I wish b737 had an autothrottle that usable until touchdown
and this is why ole 72 drivers were the best in the world. From one 72 driver to another, Godspeed
b727 is verrry verry old
i will get the FSS' 727 for FS2020 only to reproduce this ooohh yeaaahh
This reminds me of flying into Maui Hawaii. It was always very turbulent the airport situated between two mountain ridges. It was like that every time I flew there.
I recall an SAT flight from NBO on which I was a mechanic. The crew were told that there was an obstruction on the runway when we were on finals, it turned out to be a mortar that had left a small hole in the runway so the pilot just made sure he got down on the keys and taxied around it. Mog was always hairy especially when the snipers were taking pot shots from the overlooking buildings. motivation for this captain was likely that he was paying for the fuel.
Proper pilot
What a pimp
No functional state equals do what the hell you want.
Is this the 727-100?
Хоть и опытный экипаж, но от таких геройств начинаются предпосылки для летных происшествий.
Wow! I didnt know that you could even do that, if they did that it’s a safe thing to do, great piloting skills.
Sorry just saw it..
What was the Crosswind component?
KLAS in Spring.. Cross wind landings were fun..
⚡
Navy Pilot ahead, awesome and Super727 what an amazing machine.
🙃😮👍
BALLS. OF. STEEL.
If it's a Boeing, then the CEO has to step down.
everytime i'm almost giving up on studying for EASA's atpl theory, I come back here and remind why it can be worth it
Old school guy with a fantastic feel..even a right turn..where he can't see $h!t
Hey my friend, can you send this to Boeing? Make sure there’s lots of pictures
Pressure demand system. This system supplies oxygen under pressure slightly over-inflating the lungs and allows flight above 40,000ft. The overpressure lowers the lung in altitude so gas exchange occurs in the lung alveoli. Above 40,000ft 100% oxygen without pressurization would be insufficient!
Check your staff. Please. Get FB I. CIA. Two planes. Not. Good check. Everyone. Who works on these aircraft. Urgent. Urgent immediately
absolutely terrible on so many levels. Horrible decisions that put the aircraft in danger. Astonishing poor judgment.
A great video !
My CFI taught me this "360 on final maneuver" i i think 1999. We did then on C310 at 500 agl. Done in case of time limited. He said to do them with some flaps and good power, turn to down side of wind, so you will widen the turn and align with a headwind, not a tailwind. Never under 500 agl, or with a strong crosswind. But in this case they could not fly the miss approach due terrorist shooting at airplanes at end of runway area.
Me a Cessna pilot who was told by my instructor to learn about pressurization has learned about a 737 system hell yeah 😂😂 😂
i would like you to talk about negative relief valves. thank you
fun, but so dangerous. no height for failures
definition of unstable approach? this video.
Love the 727, but am old enough to remember one was ploughing in at the rate of 1 a month on average as they were difficult and touchy especially during descent and approach. Modern jetliners are more reliable and efficient and those who see the 727 with rose tinted glasses like me, spare a thought for its dodgy past.
That is called "A 360 ON SHORT FINAL". Dont do it unless You are "A Hard Maneuvering Pilot". This is Not for "Mild Maneuvering Pilots". LOL. I learned them around 1999 on Cherokee 6.
Yeah, that‘s badass! Breaking every rule and limits in modern aviation. How cool! With over 10000 hours on widebody I could pull that off as well, but standard missapproach procedures and limits of when to be stabilized on final track are there for a reason. Unbelievable stupid move to risk lifes for such cowboy trash…
Hi, I need one for the 737CL
Hi, I need one for the 737CL
Now that was butter in my opinion. Good job Cap!!
🤩❤️💯💢💥💫👌
12 minutes,… to descende 41,000 ft, thats a really fast change in altitude!!! 😮
Doesnt look like much crosswind to me...just gusty windy day.
Earning every penny of that paycheck!
What the meaning memory item sir ?
