My First Yoga Retreat Experience / Mexico / La Joya Sayulita /Lady Vana Retreats
Last March I was lucky to snag a spot and go to my very first Lady Vana women's yoga & wellness retreat. Hosted by @AlexMazerolle Ally Maz who is a world-renowned yoga teacher, breathwork facilitator, author of Girl Vana and entrepreneur. With 15-plus years of teaching experience, her retreats are renowned for their depth, realness and fun!
What I came to realize very quickly was that this week was going to be a very special journey filled with a lot of self-reflection and inner work with a lot of tears, laughter and friendship. Daily Yoga sessions, breath work and a traditional temazcal ritual. I knew I would need to remain very present during this process without distraction which helped me to unplug and kept me off my phone. So in this vlog, I will show you some little snapshots I captured of the amazing resort along with the beautiful scenery and the amazing food I enjoyed daily.

we just moved from Nicaragua, Madares beach area back in May. Fantastic place, absolutely beautiful. But we had issues with our contractor, so we didn't have a choice but to sell and move out of the country. Be careful who you hire if moving to Madares area.

Hello, thanks for your question. Both places are very beautiful! If you go to Sardinia fly! We took the ferry and it it was a long trip. They are very different places. Europe and Central America. Nicaragua is more rustic think simple living. Beaches are stunning. Less expensive. Sardinia is also very beautiful with amazing beaches. MORE Expensive. If you want to visit an under rated Italian island Elba island is so great! Checkout our video on that. We loved it. Hope that helps. I have many links in my discriptions of videos with recommendations. ☮️✌️

It is a challenge. My 10 and 12 year old did it. Definitely a work out. But the views at the top are worth it! Good like 🥾😍

Where did you rent the boat? My family and I are going to Italy in May 2025. That looks really fun, never thought to go to the island. We have two days we are removing from amalfi and this looks like a great replacement.
Hi! Thanks for your comment. We loved Elba. Super easy to get to by ferry from Piombino. We rented the boat right from the beach in the area Lacona where we stayed. The first place we stayed had used older photos of the amenities. When we arrived there was empty swimming pools and loud construction. So we decided find another Airbnb. I also use bookings.com when we travel and find it very easy. I hope that helps ✌🏼✨
