Installed my 800 today, 10/30/24. Replaced a 14 year old Bosch. I'm 78 yrs old.

Thsi video is backwards so your tightening looks like untightening. Also the connection to the brass 90 degree uses a compression fitting and does not need teflon tape.

FYI: Do not install the junction box in the same cabinet space as the dishwasher. Dishwashers can occasionally vent into their cabinets if the one way air equalization valve fails, and junction boxes are a notorious spot for electrical failures, smoke, and fires. You need to be able to get at it if something happens. Pulling your dishwasher out to get to it is not a good option. Mount it as high up as possible as well.

You can use a 10mm socket to level the rear, much easier than the flathead

Someone usaedthe junction box Guess what happened catch fire and I just connecting the old fashion way with wire nuts you don’t need the junction box. That’s my personal experience. Make sure all screws are tight if you going to use the junction box.

Clips went the opposite way on mine. Ended up scratching the top the way you had them in.

you aint lyin about that 3/4 hose adapter being finicky. took me a dozen tries before it seated right. thought for sure I was going to muck up the threads. why can't manufacturers leave connections alone? Or at the very least put a brass thread connection on the back instead of plastic. I don't know what I would done if I ruined the connection in the back, doesn't look replaceable.

Bosch recommends installing the junction box in a side cabinet not directly behind the dishwasher.

You don’t need tape,there’s an O-ring in there that you might damage if you tighten it too tight though,a Common mistake
