Got this fun sequence 1st try!! Lead out a bit difficult for a baby dog, though she appeared not to have any difficulty with it at all.

Taught a fun class earlier today, then got Nixx out to see if maybe she could layer that dogwalk. She just nailed it. I thought maybe it was a fluke so did it a second time. Nailed it. We went in the house for a couple of hours. Farmer came home from the field and I asked him to take a video. She nailed it again! We did one other fun sequence for him to video and she also got that one first try...

He'd been sent to the DW 2x, then pulled around to the jump here on the vid. He gave that DW some serious thought, then made a good choice🙂

Follow verbals & body language to 1- Jump, lie down before tunnel gradually moving the lie-down closer to tunnel entrance (not in video), 2- Jump, tunnel, 3- Jump, go around barrel that is gradually moved closer to tunnel entrance. Mix up cues for 1-3. Can add table or other obstacles into sequence ahead of jump, decision skill 1-3 above.

Search for her video. Stevi-Nixx/Nixxi, 5 mo pup. She played the game next! I usually feed one of the younger dogs in a crate so they can enjoy their meals without bothering the older dogs. My youngsters eat fast! We also travel to competitions frequently where they need to be able to eat meals in crates comfortably. It's practice!
He is very tolerant!
It's very interesting to watch the dynamics between the pup and each dog in the household. Andy loves to play with her, he initiates play often, and he will come and ask me for a break if he needs one now as she's gotten a little bigger. I just love that he will do that! They get separated a lot before he asks, but when he asks he definitely gets a break. Andy is becoming a really nice young dog in the house. I really enjoy him!
