I used to drive a delivery truck and had the hotlogic heated oven. I had a 110 volt one with a mini 12 volt 400 watt converter i plugged into a cigarette lighter. So i could use it 110 if i wanted.Now that I dont drive i havnt used it since. I used it for about two years with no issue. So i could have a homemade HOT meal every day. Its advantage is it could be used in a cigarette lighter without blowing fuses or running a seperate line. its disadvantage over a better cooking oven thats needs a seperate line run. is it really is a food warmer. I would leave it plugged in all day driving and i had hot food. that i made at home. It will NOT cook rice from scratch even left cooking 12 hours. It will not cook from scratch. It will make awesome hot cooked food i made the night before and brought to work. It will heat up any cooked food from cold in a couple hours. and keep it there until you want it. But i was driving a truck and had the engine on all day. Another great option is an electric rice cooker. its about 300 watts and will boil anything like soup or beef stew or make rice from scratch in about 20 minutes. Theyre on amazon for 25 bucks ish. i had good luck with aroma or black and decker. once you decide to go propane or white gas or butane stoves like colemans or optimus then youre in another world . and can cook like real life.

I have a small van, it's car derived but it's a van, just small, I sleep on industrial estates I stay clear of all residential and shopping areas, just found your channel and subscribed and everything you say in your videos your absolutely spot on, your so right, in a way these van lifers/ weekend warriors have ruined overnight parking by leaving litter everywhere and annoying people who complain to the state. If people want an accurate description of what living in your vehicle is like, watch car dwelling video like this guy

Gas is way worse than what you quoted! I had to pay $6.79 a gallon in SoCal last week. I will continue living in my van but after 3 years plus of van living, I must now stop traveling cuz my savings/emergency money has run out. Down to just SS now and I don't get s**t. Im handicapped so I can't work. Don't qualify for any type of assistance. Im a vet but was even rejected by the VA. Im a classic case of one "falling thru the cracks". Feel like I'm circling a drain and I'm only 62.

You can save a lot of money by being a nomad if you figure out how to solar power car electrically and have a fridge and toaster oven and also figure out how to keep all belongings in a storage unit that doesn't get bed bugs on clothing. Especially if you are doing gig work in Los Angeles where you can make $300 a day. The problem with living in car is self care for women. That is a good video topic for me. Difficult to ipl in car... and no one helps you install solar panels. Some people need to be near a sink or bathroom while getting ready for work and getting ready to sleep. If only they allowed tony houses that were no credit checks and $500 a month and boxable houses on more geographic areas of California.

Greetings everyone. I am a nomad that lives out of my vehicle while working on the road. Making $200k and having a family back home. It's just me on in the road and I hate the price of hotels and campsites. There is more to the car life than the romance of watching the rise.

I have lived in my Nissan nv200 compact cargo van for 8 years, and I love it. My budget is $2000 a month. $1000 for living expenses, and I save $1000 a month. I live in Honolulu, Hawaii. I am not obvious and don't stick out in a crowd. I've never had a problem with the police. My van is minimal, and it looks like a typical work van. I 🚿 shower and work out at the gym, and I eat out. I don't cook or eat anything inside my van.

No UA-camr is pretending to live in their vehicle for sympathy. It tales courage to expose the truth, to share a personal experience. There is an alternative lifestyle that won’t go away. Many are a paycheck away of being homeless. Don’t be judgmental of UA-camrs who share realities with the public.

A tip from me ,it has been a HUGE game changer..... Try a roofbox. I bought a used one for £20, it holds my dirty washing, a case with winter clothes, my motorbike riding kit, a good up table and chair, a tailgate tent for when I stay places longer than a week, my outdoors walking gear and other things I need, but don't need daily.👌👌
