I’m doing the marathon this year so I looked this up. The mad thing is when you ran by the band in Castleknock I was on the other side of the road with my kid. I remember them playing that song. Well done!
Hello, how sttep are the climbs? on the map they look quite flat...
Theres a couple of steep climbs at 17k and 30k but overall it’s a nice course quite flat
Well pal. Is Limerick harder than the Dublin Marathon?
It definitely has some sneakier hills than Dublin and the heat didn’t help. What I found hardest is most are running in the half so it’s very hard to tag onto a group to keep momentum up! Enjoyable all the same

Wow, some performance. How many km did you you run per week in preparation?
Thank you , I ran roughly 40 to 50k p/w week from June and included some sprints in the training, I also did one long 36k run to see how the body would hold up a month out.
